As soon as you start the mission, you get your first objective. You must track down the Stolen Remnant Drive Core. To this end you must go to the spot marked on the map. Clear the area of enemies and find the container stuck in the ground. Climb that and scan the box inside in order to launch a brief conversation. When you regain control of your character go back to NOMAD and travel to another destination point on the map - this one is south of your current position.

When you reach the navpoint deal with enemies nearby and approach the crashed ship. There you will find another box, the same as the one that you found inside the container you have scanned a moment ago. When you regain control of your character approach the datapad lying next to the box that you have just scanned and analyze it. This will reveal the next navpoint you must travel to - this one is located east of your current position.

The last conversation in this mission includes a key decision.

Once you have retrieved the core, go out of the cave and return to New Tuchanka. You must talk to Morda and inform her that she has been betrayed by Strux. After a rather long conversation you will face a choice: you can either give the core to Morda or keep it to yourself. This is a very important decision, as it determines whether you will be able to establish an outpost on Elaaden. If you give the core to the Krogan, you will be able to set an outpost on the planet, but if you keep it, the opportunity will be lost. On the other hand, keeping the core will grant you 1,000 Remnant Research Data and a pretty large amount of Credits. However, the better choice is to give the core to Morda - the reward for keeping it is not so great, while establishing an outpost will grant you extra Viability Points.

Rewards: XP, Andromeda Viability Points.
