Soldier | Character profiles
The first from the "pure" profiles, beside Engineer and Adept. This one focuses around the usage of Combat tree skills, making it perfect for those who are investing skill points in that very tree. It requires 6 / 24 / 54 / 99 / 156 / 232 points invested in Combat skill tree to unlock 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th level of this profile.
Below you can find a table showing all of the passive bonuses given to the character when the profile is active, from the first to the sixth level of the Soldier profile.

The additional passive ability of the Soldier profile is Marksman's Focus. It gives an increasing bonus to damage dealt for every target you kill during a short period of time. The bonus accumulates with each kill, although it resets fairly quickly - if you want to maximize its effects, be sure to search for new targets relatively quickly.
This profile is mainly (but not only - you can use it for any character, even those that aren't centered on the Combat skill tree) used as an enhancement for characters that rely heavily on the Combat skill tree abilities. It offers powerful bonuses to weapon stats, significantly increases weapon clip sizes and gives a huge damage resistance. Note, however, that damage resistance has no effect on shields (blue bar) - only health (red bar) is influenced by it.
