Engineer | Character profiles Mass Effect: Andromeda Guide
Last update: 11 April 2017
The second in order, as well as the second "pure" profile, beside Soldier and Adept. This one focuses around the usage of Tech tree skills, making it perfect for those who are investing skill points in that very tree. It requires 6 / 24 / 54 / 99 / 156 / 232 points invested in Tech skill tree to unlock 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th level of this profile.
Below you can find a table showing all of the passive bonuses given to the character when the profile is active, from the first to the sixth level of the Engineer profile.
Stat | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 | Level 6 |
All Combo Damage | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
Tech Construct Health | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
Tech Construct Health Regeneration | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
Tech Construct Damage | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
Tech Restoration and Defense | +20% | +25% | +30% | +35% | +40% | +45% |
The additional passive ability of the Engineer profile is Combat Drone. It allows the character to summon a small drone which increases the recharge speed of Tech tree abilities. Additionally, the drone can self-destruct when there are enemies nearby, emitting an electromagnetic pulse around itself. This passive ability is mainly useful because of the cooldown reduction to Tech skills.
This profile is perfect for those players that want to focus on developing Tech tree skills. What's more, it's an ideal choice for those who are constantly using Remnant VI and/or Assault Turret abilities. The reason for that is simple - this profile increases the maximum health, health regeneration and damage dealt of every construct and both of those abilities summon objects treated by the game as such. If you want to use one or both of them, or you simply with to focus on the abilities from the Tech tree, the Engineer profile is definitely for you.
