Last update: 16 February 2021
From this page of the Hitman 3 game guide, you will learn how to disable surveillance cameras that can interfere with your missions.
Surveillance cameras installed on Hitman 3 game maps can make Agent 47 missions significantly harder, especially on the highest difficulty level. In many cases, turning off cameras will allow you to complete all optional objectives (challenges) more easily.
Turning surveillance cameras off
The cameras are usually connected to the security office or the main computer in the server room, and this is where you should look to sabotage the surveillance. This task is unfortunately not as simple as it might seem. Security rooms are usually well guarded, and you may need an access key to unlock the computer.
On separate pages, we explain in detail how to disable surveillance on each map:
- CCTV in Dubai - where to sabotage it?
- CCTV in Berlin - where to sabotage it?
- CCTV in Chongqing - where to sabotage?

Cameras - can they be destroyed?
Yes, the cameras installed on Hitman 3 game maps are not indestructible and can be shot down. For this, it is best to use a pistol with a silencer not to alarm the guards who may be standing right next to you.
Cameras - can they be hacked?
Yes, cameras installed in the Chongqing (China) can be hacked using Agent 47's new gadget, a camera. Locate the small terminal near the camera and scan it with the gadget to disable the recording device.
