On this page of the guide to Hitman 3 you will find an overview of where to use the camera in Dartmoor. Agent 47 can scan various clues and documents, some of which may be related to the investigation of Zachary's death. The objects which you are able to scan can be treated as secrets/collectibles. We have prepares some suggestions regarding the best locations to go to in order to collect the camera intel.

Scanning the intel and objects - introductory information

The camera intel locations are shown on the map attached to the guide and are visible on the Dartmoor map at all times. However, don't count on it being quick and easy because you always have to assess what to scan and where to stand. You can't stand too far away from the object you're scanning and it can't be covered by any obstacles.

You can visit the listed locations in any order. You don't have to scan them in the exact order shown in our guide. Moreover, not all of the clues are linked to challenges or to the ongoing investigation of Zachary's death.

Some pieces of intel are required in order to pass the investigation as a private investigator. You can find a list of these intel items on the page which describes the Means, Motive and Opportunity Mission Story.

Some clues can be found in locked rooms. It's a good idea to bring a lockpick with you on the mission, although you can also use a crowbar or the Master Key, which can be found on the Dartmoor map.

Location 1 - Greenhouse

You need to get into the greenhouse but it's locked - use a lockpick or a crowbar. If the family gathering has already taken place in the mansion's sitting room, Emma will be here - avoid or eliminate her. On a wide table you will be able to scan a book about poisons (Poison Dosage Table).

Location 2 - The terrace at the back of the property

There are footprints on the terrace to be scanned.

Location 3 - Trophy room

Here you can scan the Documents on the Carlises' Assets which can be found on a round table. A security guard watches this location and it is a good idea to distract him beforehand, e.g. by throwing a coin.

Location 4 - Sitting room

The Portrait of Montgomery Carlisle hanging on the wall in the sitting room can be scanned here.

Location 5 - Dining room

Here you can scan the Edward's Speech. It is on the table between the prepared place settings.

Location 6 - Emma and Gregory's room

The room is locked - use the lockpick/crowbar/Master Key from the butler's office, or get inside through the balcony. There are Shoes and Footprints to be scanned in the corner of the room.

Location 7 - Rebecca's Room

The room is locked - use the lock pick/crowbar/Master Key from the butler's office, or go through the secret room from the side of the small office (the one with the lawyer working on the laptop). Rebecca 's Notebook can be found next to the fireplace - scan it.

Location 8 - Zachary's bedroom

The corridor next to the bedroom is guarded by 2 guards - you can go past them using your guard/private investigator disguise, or you can reach the bedroom from the balcony, a small office or the adjacent secret room.

In the bedroom, two clues await discovery. The first clue to be scanned is Zachary's Body.

The second clue is a Whisky Glass and Bottle placed on the nightstand next to the bed.
