Deathwing, Mad Aspect - how to use this minion?
Deathwing, Mad Aspect is a new Legendary Warrior card that has been added to the Descent of Dragons expansion set to Hearthstone. The minion costs 8 mana points and has 12/12 stats with Battlecry. How should I use him in a duel?
- Battlecry - Deathwing, Mad Aspect immediately attacks ALL minions on the board in a random order. This means that your units are also at risk of being attacked.
- Synergy - After playing the Deathwing, Mad Aspect card you can add one more minion of this type to your hand by using Dragon Breeder.
Barista Lynchen - how and when to use this legendary minion?
Barista Lynchen is a card that copies all friendly minions with Battlecry on the board and adds them to your hand.
- Wait for the proper moment - Barista Lynchen is an extremely strong card that, when played at the right time, can give you the chance to win the whole duel. Before you play this card, consider whether the minions available on the board may be useful and whether you have enough room in your hand. Remember, that redundant cards will be burned. The best time to use Barista Lynchen card is when you can get some extra minions like Scion of Ruins.
Mulligan - proper card selection
Each duel begins with the so-called Mulligan phase, that is, the selection of cards. During this time, you can decide which cards to leave in your hand and which ones to discard in order to find others. Card shuffling always involves some risk, but sometimes it is necessary to take it in order to have a chance to win.
- High Priority - Eternium Rover, Town Crier, Ritual Chopper or/and Devoted Maniac. Your goal is to neutralize your opponent's minions, then quickly use Invoke on Galakrond to use the Battlecry of Scion of Ruin.
- Medium priority - Consider leaving the Brawl on your hand if you are dealing with an aggressive or Zoo deck.
Defensive Play

- Armor - If you manage to get a large amount of armor, your opponent may not have the right mechanisms to get break it.
- Armorsmith - a minion which costs 2 mana points that is hard to eliminate in the early stages of the duel. Each time one of your minions is attacked, Armorsmith will assign 1 point of armor to your Hero.
- Eternium Rover - Another minion that can be used to increase your armor stat. Each time Eternium Rover takes damage, your Hero gains 2 armor points.
- Brawl - If your opponent has brought many units into the game - use Brawl. In the worst case, only one minion of your enemy will be left on the board.
- Shield of Galakrond - Minion with 4/5 statistics which has a Taunt ability. Moreover, it's useful after playing Invoke which upgrades Galakrond.
- Faceless Corruptor - a minion which has 4/4 stats that transforms one of your minions into a copy of this. So you can use it to transform a 1/1 unit into a 4/4 unit.
Offensive Play
In the presented deck, aside from weapons and attack points received from the Galakrond Invocations, you won't find mechanisms that allow you to instantly deal direct damage to the enemy's portrait. Gameplay with a control deck is usually slow and methodical.
