High Priest Amet - how to use this legendary minion?
High Priest Amet is a unique Legendary minion of a Priest. This minion has a lot of health and it's pretty hard to eliminate this unit in one turn. What's more, High Priest Amet has a very interesting ability.
- Special Ability - whenever you summon a minion, set its Health equal to this minion's (of High Priest Amet). This means that by increasing Amet's health to 14 points, every summoned minion will also have this amount of health points!
- Reborn - it is worth mentioning that the ability of High Priest Amet is also activated after Reborn. For example, if Injured Tol'Vir dies when High Priest Amet is on the board, he will be reborn with health points equal to those of the legendary minion.
- When to play - before you play Psychopomp, make sure that at least one allied minion has died during the game in order not to waste the potential of this card.
- Summoning effect - it is worth remembering that the minions revived by Psychopomp will appear with full health points. If High Priest Amet is on the board, the health of summoned minion will be automatically aligned with Priest Amet's health.
Psychopomp - how and when to play this card?
Psychopump is a unique card in the Priest's deck, which summons a random friendly minion, who died in this game and additionally gives him Reborn.
Mulligan - proper card selection
Each duel begins with the so-called Mulligan phase, that is, the selection of cards. During this time, you can decide which cards to leave in your hand and which ones to discard in order to find others. Card shuffling always involves some risk, but sometimes it is necessary to take it in order to have a chance to win.
- High priority - Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Acolyte of Pain. From the very beginning of the duel, you have to draw additional cards to build a combo.
- Medium priority - consider leaving Injured Tol'Vir in your hand if you have a Psychopomp in your hand as this combination will allow you to effectively stop the aggressive deck for at least several turns.
Defensive Play
Defense is not the strongest side of this deck, so it is important to look for a large number of minions with Taunt. You only have 2 such minions at your disposal, and you have to deal with any problems by using other minions or spells like Holy Ripple.
- Minions - your minions have a large health pool so you will be able to perform a beneficial exchange and then restore them to full health.
Offensive Play
Playing with Priest's deck focuses on creating a minion with a large amount of health points, which can be further increased by using a combination of Divine Spirit + Inner Fire. With this combination you can create a powerful minion in one round who will finish off the opponent with one blow.
Watch out for removals - try to save the combo on your hand for a proper moment. Your goal is to finish off your opponent in one round. Due to the large number of removals in the game, your minion may not survive until the next round, and you will lose your chance to win the duel.
