Illidan Stormrage is the newest hero available in Hearthstone, available completely free of charge with the expansion Ashes of Outland. After completing all story missions, the player not only unlocks the Demon Hunter, but also as much as 30 cards from this decks, enabling you to create a starting deck.
Demon Hunter is an extremely aggressive set. Using Demon Claws you can put the pressure on the enemy from the very beginning, or liquidate weak units, with 1 HP. Later in the game Demon Hunter can use powerful weapons that have additional effects, such as Lifesteal and has the ability to attack the enemy in many ways.
A characteristic feat of the Demon Hunter is access to Outlaw keyword cards. These cards get hugely reinforced when they're played from left or right-most side of the deck. For example, Gul'dan's Skull (6) is a spell that lets you draw 3 cards. If you can play this cards from left or right-most side of your hand, you will additionally lower the cost of the drawn cards by 3 Mana points!
The Demon Hunter has access to many cards increasing weapon damage (Inner Demon (8), Chaos Strike (2)) so if you can use the right combination of cards, Illidan Stormrage is able to deal as much as 30 points of direct damage on the enemy portrait! An additional advantage of this class are the minions, who get additional stats or skills if the Hero attacks in the given turn. These cards include Battlefiend (1) and Furious Felfin (2).
Pros | Cons |
