Hunter | Recommended deck of cards - Saviors of Uldum Hearthstone Guide

The following deck is adapted to the latest expansion called Saviors of Uldum and is suitable for a Hunter - one of the character classes in Hearthstone. Here you will find mostly offensive and control decks that will allow you to quickly win duels in Hearthstone. The description of each deck was further enriched with a special code that can be copied and used in Hearthstone while you are in the process of creating a new deck - the game will select the appropriate cards.
Hunter - Rexxar, Webweaver
The deck shown below for the Hunter class in Hearthstone is specifically adapted to the latest expansion - Rise of Shadows. The deck belongs to the offensive category with some control elements. In the presented deck you will find a lot of Secret cards that will cause considerable confusion in your enemy's army. This deck includes several new cards, such as Hyena Alpha, or Scarlet Webweaver. Zul'jin - when and how to use an additional Hero?
Zul'jin is an additional Hero for the Hunter class that was introduced in the Rastakhan's Rumble expansion. After playing him, you get 5 points of armor, and immediately cast all the spells played in this game. The special power also changes, it can now cause 2 points of damage to the selected target.
- Berserker Throw - A new special attack, thanks to which you can cause 2 points of damage to the selected target. This means that you can now eliminate the enemy's minions rather than just attacking their portrait.
- Battlecry - Remember that when you play Zul'jin, all spells are casted automatically and targets are chosen randomly. Moreover, you can come to a situation where Kill Command will be played at your hero's portrait.
Secrets - overall mechanics and synergies
Secrets are extremely powerful spells that cause a lot of confusion during opponent's turn. In most cases, the opponent will not know what kind of secret was played until he or she activates it.
- Activating Secrets - Each Secret can be activated by a specific condition, so you should expect that if there are no units in the opponent's deck (for example, in the Hunter's spell-based deck), Snipe will not be activated. Try to play the Secrets carefully.
- Subject 9 - With the help of this minion, you can pull up to 5 Secrets out of the deck. Remember not to overfill your hands and waste the cards.
- Masked Contender - A very good minion that has reliable 3/4 stats. When you control a Secret, he plays a random Secret from your deck.
Mulligan - the appropriate selection of cards
Each duel begins with a so-called Mulligan phase, that is the selection of cards. During this time, you can decide which cards to leave in your hand and which ones to discard and look for others. Card shuffling always involves some risk, but sometimes it is necessary to use it in order to have a chance to win.
- High priority - Secretkeeper, Secret and/or Sunreaver Spy. The best start is having cards that you can play in the first 3 rounds.
- Average priority - Think about keeping Animal Companion or Subject 9, which will be useful in the further stage of the game, and immediately reduce your deck.
Defense
Your main defense are minions, spells and Secrets. In the presented deck you will find a lot of cards that will help you in an effective fight for the playing field, for example, Hyena Alpha, Deadly Shot or Freezing Trap.
- Hyena Alpha - A very strong minion that can be used both in defense and in attack. If you control a Secret, Hyena Alpha will summon two additional minions with 2/2 stats.
- Kill Command - A spell that will help you break through an annoying minion such as a taunt with a lot of health points or Mountain Giant.
- Eaglehorn bow - An extremely useful weapon with 3/2 stats, which gets an extra durability every time one of your traps is activated.
- Secrets - The basis of your defensive line. Secrets force the opponent to make moves that they usually prefer to avoid.
Offensive
The basis of your attack are Beasts that you can copy with a new ally - Ramkahen Wildtamer. Moreover, you can lower a Beast's cost by using another new minion - Scarlet Webweaver.
- Hero's special power - Hunter's primary special power deals 2 points of damage to the enemy's portrait.
- Ramkahen Wildtamer - A solid minion with 4/3 statistics, which can copy of a random Beast that you have currently in hand. Depending on the current situation on the playing field, you can copy Hyena Alpha, Scarlet Webweaver or Savannah Highmane.
- Scarlet Webweaver - A minion that has 5/5 stats, and when played, it reduces the cost of a random Beast in your hand by 5 points.
