Standard edition
The standard version of Assassin's Creed Shadows is available in digital and physical versions - the latter applies exclusively to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles with a built-in or attached Bluray drive.
Digital deluxe edition
The deluxe version, in addition to the basic game, includes the following content:
- Sekiryu Dual Pack - it includes equipment and weapon sets for Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Beast and the Dragon Tooth Trinket.
- Sekiryu Hideout Pack - includes 4 unique decorations to place in the Hideout.
- 5 Mastery Points - they allow for faster character development.
Collector's edition
The physical collector's edition of the game includes elements of the digital deluxe edition. It also comes with:
- Game: on 2 discs (Xbox Series X), 1 disc (PS5) or in digital version (PC).
- Figure of Naoe and Yasuke - it is a 40-centimeter diorama depicting 2 main characters.
- Steelbook.
- Artbook (84 pages).
- Naoe's life-sized katana Tsuba.
- World map.
- Creed wall scroll.
- 2 Sumi-e lithographs.
The official price of the collector's edition is 229.99 dollars/euros for PC or 229.99 dollars/239.99 euros for consoles.
Pre-order bonus
The developers have planned additional bonuses for those who pre-order the game. They are:
- Thrown to the Dogs bonus mission - available in the game on release.
- Claws of Awaji story expansion - it will be released in 2025, some time after the game's release. It is expected to offer about 10 hours of additional gameplay, as well as new skills, weapons, secrets, or equipment.
Is there a season pass and early access?
AC Shadows was originally planned to have a season pass, but ultimately Ubisoft decided to abandon this idea. The story-oriented DLC is a pre-order bonus or will be available for purchase separately after the release of the expansion.
Assassins Creed Shadows does not offer paid early access. All of the editions will be released on March 20, 2025.
