Chapter 18 information

Show Elena around the starting location and read the pirate motto - this will start two optional conversations

In this chapter, you continue your search for Sam. You will get to New Devon, where you can collect as many as eight treasures, two journal entries, six journal notes and have five optional conversations.

The road to Avery's district

Jump over the gallows to move ahead

After you start, run ahead to get to a wooden sign with the pirate motto. After you read it, you can have an optional conversation with Elena. On the left, there also is the first treasure (Mughal Stout Vase). Jump onto the obelisk near the sign. Jump over the gallows. On the south-most one, there is another treasure (Small Mughal Dagger). Return to the obelisk and go straight ahead. You will reach Avery's district.

Inside the building, thee is a journal note. After you collect it, climb to the rooftop

Jump down into the water and swim left. Right next to the semicircle on the bridge, there is a treasure (Mughal Candle Holder). Continue ahead, across the hole in the wall - jump over the ruins to reach the building with red walls. Enter the building. On the bed, there is a journal note. Climb to the rooftop now and jump down - you will encounter numerous enemies. Eliminate them.

The road to Avery's property

Cross the stone entrance and jump into the water

Walk under the stone bridge and jump into the river. Dive, swim ahead and emerge in a small cave. Walk out of the water, climb up higher to reach a branch. Use it to jump over to the other side and jump down - ahead, you will see the skeleton of a hanged woman. Right next to her, there is a journal note. After you pick it up, you will e able to have an optional conversation with Elena.

Use grappling hook to pull the crate

Jump into the water and swim to the other side. On the left, next to the waterfall, there is a treasure (Mughal Circular Box). Use grappling hook to climb higher and push off the crate into the river. Jump into the water and use grappling hook to pull the crate out of the water. Position it in such a way as to climb to the ledge above.

Avery's estate ahead - unfortunately, the bridge will collapse and you will drop into water.

Climb onto the rooftop. It will collapse in a moment and you will drop into the river. Elena will want to have an optional conversation. Swim towards two angel statues and dive. Ahead, in the building, there is a treasure (Mughal Headdress). Swim into the building that Elena stops next to, climb up over the stone beams.

Exploration of Avery's estate

Add the entry about the mughal vase - nearby, thee also is a treasure and a journal note

You will walk into the bedroom. In the corridor, you find a mughal vase and, after you approach it, Nate will add a journal note. Go left where, in the next room, there is a journal note on the desk. This is not all. Go back to the room with the vase. In the opposite end of the room, there is a sofa and another treasure (Spanish Brass Chalice) behind it. return to the room with the desk, cross the destroyed fireplace and jump out of the window.

Push the bookshelf down into the water for Elena to join you

Swim up to the large residence with cannons. Enter, jump into the water and grab onto the ledge on the right. Wait for Elena to climb up on the beam and jump to the other side. Then, jump down into the water, grab the remains of the structure on the right, when you are carried away by the current. Climb up and shove the wooden bookshelf for the woman to join you. Together, push up the wooden dresser in the neighboring room. After you open the door, you will get into the diner, which starts a long cutscene.

There is a note on the corner of the table

After it ends, collect another note from the table right next to you. Also, you can add a journal note about the table and about the pirate poisoning. Follow Elena into the next room, where you find a half-burned, yet still intelligible note. Leave the estate. After you reach the top of the stone stairs, go left towards the cannons. Next to them, on the wall, there is a treasure (Mughal Painted Elephant). Cross the hole next to Avery's house. Climb up and you will get into the music room. You can have an optional conversation with Elena here.

After you open the door, be prepared to fight mercenaries

Climb down now, down the hole on the left. Climb up the red stairs and go up again. examine the footprints on the ground and follow them. You will get to barricaded door. Try to open it, this will alarm the guards. You have to kill them to proceed. Still, watch out because the fight can be difficult.

Interact with the lighter, the armor the painting and the watch to proceed.

After you have dealt with all of them, open the barricaded door. Right after you enter, Elena will start reading the document that she hands over to you, afterwards. This will add the last journal note in this chapter. In the next room, go right and climb up the stairs. On the balcony, there is the last treasure (Mughal Dinnerware). Return downstairs. You have to examine the following items in the room: the lighter on the floor, the armor, the watch and the painting. Finally, Elena will find a way down, which ends this chapter.
