This page explains how to remove the sand that builds up on machines. To clean your devices, you first need to craft the Feather Duster. We explain how to do it.
How to craft the Feather Duster?
The Feather Duster can be crafted with the Worktable. Here's a list of things you need:
- The Feather Duster blueprint - available at the Commerce Guild Store for 91 Gols.
- Wooden Stick x2 - can be crafted with the Worktable for total of 18 Wood, which can be obtained by cutting down nearby bushes or processing Wood Scrap in the Recycler machine. These methods have a chance to net you complete Wooden Sticks.
- Feather x5 - dropped by enemies. The easiest to defeat in combat are the Rocket Roosters, which are roosters that shoot fireworks. The closest you will find them is in the desert a few steps south of your workshop. They don't make for especially challenging opponents.
- Thin Thread x1 - can be crafted with the Worktable using 2 Plant Fibers. You can also obtain Thin Thread from enemies. Next to the workshop, you will find many Bumble Ants, which sometimes drop these materials.
Once you have purchased the blueprint and gathered the necessary materials, use the Worktable to craft the Feather Duster.
How to use the Feather Duster?
You use the Feather Duster in the same way that you use the Pickhammer and weapons: first equip the item. Then walk up to the machine you want to remove the sand from, press the action button and after a few seconds you will get rid of the dirt. Your machine will then return to working as normal.
