How to upgrade items with the Refiner?
Interact with the Refiner machine to view the list of owned items you can upgrade. In the middle of the screen you'll find information on the resources needed to upgrade the item. Then click the Refine item.
A window will appear, comparing the stats of the base item with its upgraded version. If the changes are to your liking, click Take new stats.
You can use the Refiner to upgrade the following objects:
- Machines - the already crafted machines can be upgraded. This can grant them additional properties, such as shortening the material production time or reducing their water and fuel consumption.
- Materials - the higher the materials' quality is, the higher the chance of crafting better machines and items.
- Weapons and tools - upgrading these can increase their stats and grant additional properties, such as lowering Stamina use.
- Furniture, clothing and accessories - upgrading these can increase the stat bonuses they grant or give them additional stat bonuses.
