Hold of the Geeglers
The mission starts very intensely, as you are immediately thrown into the midst of battle. You have to defeat three Geeglers, but it is easy to break their defenses, and after a few blows, the enemies will fall. Remember to dodge and attack quickly when the opponents get distracted. Once you get rid of their shields, it only takes a few sword or spear attacks to knock them down.
Salvage the Old Hydrogel
After defeating the enemies, you need salvage the core. Use the Bronze Pickhammer (or an upgraded version if you already have one) on the Damaged Hydrogel Core to complete this part of the quest.
Talk to Qi
Now you need to make diagrams for a new system, without which the farm will not prosper. Go to the Research Center next to Mi-an's Home to have Qi research the diagrams.
Prepare Data Discs
You will need 5 Data Discs, which you most likely already have in your backpack, to conduct your research. If not, you can get them using the hints from the Research and Data Discs page. Qi will inform you that a Condenser will be required for the operation to succeed. You currently don't have access to it, but Justice can open a passage for you to The Breach, where the required item is.
Talk to Justice
Now you need to talk to Justice, who you will find near the Research Center. The man will agree to open the entrance of The Breach for you and then warn you of the dangers lurking there.
Enter The Breach
The Breach is located on the west side of town. However, before you enter it, make sure your character is at least level 10, you have your favorite weapons and daggers in your inventory, and, just in case, food to restore health. When you get prepared, go inside The Breach.
Look for the Condenser
The Breach is a linear location with many corridors. There will be several opponents on your way, but they are not very demanding, and after a few hits, they will be defeated. Move until you reach the entrance before the last room.
Be sure to use the special healing point, as your first boss fight is before you.
After the cutscene, the fight will begin. You have three enemies to defeat, which you should eliminate in a specific order. Deal with Geegler Intern first because it's easiest to break his defense, and after a few accurate blows, you will defeat it.
Next, focus on Geegler Security. It's a good idea to neutralize his shields with daggers first, and then attack him with the weapons you specialize in.
Dodges are crucial in this fight, as Geegler VP blows can severely shorten your health bar. Before each enemy strike, his silhouette lights up red. As soon as you see this, immediately dodge to the side.
Geegler VP has a high resistance, so getting rid of his shield is necessary. Using daggers/spear combos to reduce shield and then a great sword to deplete him of HP works well in this fight.
After the fight, resume searching for the item. The Condenser is located in a box on elevation against the south wall of the room you are currently in.
Close the Hole
Before returning, it is a good idea to ensure that Geeglers do not return to The Breach. To do this, secure the hole in the eastern wall enemies are getting through. For this you need 8 pieces of Stones and 2 pieces of Wooden Boards. If you do not have these materials with you, you will find them scattered around the room. Collect what you need and plug the hole.
At this point, you can explore the area or return. If you choose the first option, you will have to walk to the exit. If you prefer to leave The Breach immediately, you will automatically exit the location.
Wait for Diagrams
Outside the entrance to The Breach, Justice, who was very concerned about your long absence, is already waiting for you. Now it remains to wait for Qi to complete his research on the diagrams. Head to the workshop and get some sleep, and you'll find the diagrams in your mailbox the next day.
Construct Hydrogel
Once you have the plans, you will find that you have to build two different constructions. Before you start collecting resources, go to the Commerce Guild Store and purchase the following recipies:
- Bronze Blade - 317 Gols.
- Rubber Tube - 19 Gols.
Before you start, take a day to go to Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins to gather the necessary materials in one go. From there you need 2 Engines, about 300 pieces of Copper Ore and about 50 pieces of Tin Ore
Approach the Assembly Station and select the Hydrogel Core blueprint. To construct it, you need:
- Copper Bars x10 - can be crafted with Furnace using a total of 30 Copper Ore pieces.
- Basic Leather x5 - can be crafted with Worktable using a total of 15 pieces of Raw Animal Pelt and 5 pieces of Sea Salt (it can be purchased at the Blue Moon To-Go across from the Commerce Guild for 8 Gols). Basic Leather can also be purchased for 32 Gols at the Tailor Mad near City Hall.
- Engine x2 - can be found in Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins at any level. It is also available at Eufala Salvage Shop for 128 Gols.
- Bronze Blade x2 - can be crafted with Worktable using a total of 8 Bronze Bars (can be crafted with Furnace) and 4 Copper Gears (can be crafted with Grinder station).
- Copper Pipe x4 - can be crafted with Grinder using a total of 8 Copper Bars.
When you're done, put the Hydrogel Core in your inventory and select the Hydrogel Door diagram in Assembly Station. To construct a door, you need:
- Copper Plate x8 - can be crafted with Processor using a total of 24 Bronze Bars. You can also buy Copper Plate at the Construction Junk Shop north of the oasis, but it's quite expensive. 1 piece costs 94 Gols.
- Rubber Tube x6 - can be crafted with Grinder using a total of 18 pieces of Rubber (you can obtain it by processing Rubber Scrap using the Recycler).
- Bronze Pipes x4 - can be crafted with Grinder using a total of 8 Bronze Bars (can be crafted with Furnace).
Once you have completed the construction, put your creation in your backpack. All that remains is to put the constructions in the right place.
Install Hydrogel
Return to Moisture Farm (use the Yakmel Station to save time) and enter the building. Head to the central point of the facility and then install the Hydrogel Door and Hydrogel Core. You will see a short cutscene showing how everything is running again. This marks the end of the quest.
