My Time at Sandrock: Game speed - how to change it?
Proper time management in My Time at Sandrock is one of the basic skills of a skilled builder. Thanks to one of the options you have an influence on how long a day will last in the game. On this page we will tell you how to slow down and speed up the passage of time.
Last update:
This page contains information about the Game Speed option. We explain how to slow down or speed up the in-game clock and the results these changes have on the gameplay.
How do I change the game speed?
You can change the game speed in the Game Settings tab marked with a gear symbol. Game Speed is the first available option. You can modify it with the slider.
The settings can take the following values:
- Minimum 0.5 - when compared to the default, doubles the length of the day.
- 1 - this is the day's standard length.
- 2 - when compared to the default, the day is twice as short.
What does modifying the Game Speed do?
Reducing the Game Speed will make the day last longer, giving you more time for activities. The time required to process or produce materials will also increase.
Increasing the value on the slider will make the game time flow faster. This is useful, for example, when you don't want to take part in any activities, but need to wait until a specific time to trigger an event, or simply want to speed up material production.
