My Time at Sandrock: Fire Powered Generator - how to build? My Time at Sandrock guide, walkthrough
All machines in My Time at Sandrock require fuel to operate. Constantly taking care of full tanks can be a nuisance, so it's worth building a Fire Powered Generator so you can more easily control the energy that powers your equipment. On this page we suggest how to do it.

How to build a Fire Powered Generator?
Before you can build the Fire Powered Generator, you need to go to the Research Center to have Qi invent the diagram of the device for you. The researching process costs 16 Data Discs (you will find them on any level of the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins).
To build a Fire Powered Generator, you'll need the following materials:
- Bronze Plate x4 - can be crafted with the Processor using 12 Bronze Bars in total (these can be crafted in the Furnace).
- Bloodstone Core x2 - can be crafted with the Worktable using 6 Bloodstones in total (these drop from Hard Rocks) and 10 Clay (can be dug up in the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins).
- Bearing x3 - obtainable by processing Mechanical Scraps in the Recycler.
- Steel Bar x6 - obtainable by converting Iron Scrap in the Civil Recycler or with the Civil Furnace using 18 Iron Ore, 6 Graphite and 6 Dinas in total.
Once you've collected all the materials, use the Assembly Station to activate the diagram and use all the ingredients. Then place the finished machine in your workshop area.
What is the Fire Powered Generator used for?
All machines that produce or process materials need to be regularly refueled. Otherwise, they will stop working. The Fire Powered Generator allows you to fill the tank with a large amount of fuel and automatically distribute it to equipment in the workshop area. This way, you don't have to worry about the machines stopping production while you're on long journeys.
How to add fuel to the Fire Powered Generator?
To add fuel to the Fire Powered Generator, simply interact with the device and click the "Add" button below the tank image. Then choose the materials you want to process. These may include:
- Dregs - obtainable by converting any type of Scraps in the Recycler and when collecting. This is a very common material that you will find while performing various activities in the game.
- Wood - obtainable by cutting down nearby bushes and Hard Wood.
- Powers Stones - can be found in the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins.
- Condensed Powers Stones - obtainable while exploring the Gecko Station and opening Expert Toolboxes and All-in-one Toolboxes.
