Oratores is the first quest of the last act in Kingdom Come 2. It starts the game's finale and has a point of no return. The quest consists of preparations for a raid on the Italian Court. On this guide page, we described how to liberate the Ruthards' palace, find the key to the treasury in Vavak's house, find the tunnel leading to the Italian Court, and capture the pope's legate.
Before starting the quest, get the best horse possible - otherwise, the quest will impossible to complete. The previously received free Herring is not enough - you need a better mount. The end of the task also contains a point of no return - when you go to the Ruthard palace after the chasing the pope's legate, you will not be able to freely explore the world until you complete the main storyline.

How to liberate the Ruthards' palace?
The quest begins in Suchdol, where you will interrogate the captured Otto von Burgow. Zizka's company is developing a plan to ultimately stop Sigismund - stealing his silver from the Italian Court, which will prevent him from being able to pay his army. Talk to Rosa and follow her through the secret passage to the Ruthards' palace, where there is a tunnel leading directly to the Italian Court. When you reach the underground lake, pick up Rosa and carry her to the other side.
When you reach the palace, it turns out that it has been taken over by looters. Rosa will climb up the ivy to her room and will support you with her crossbow. You cannot peacefully resolve the situation - looters will attack you immediately. They are very poorly armed, but there are more than ten of them - retreat down the stairs and force them to come to you. Keep them on the stairs - they are narrow enough that only one looter at a time will be able to fight with you.
After getting rid of the looters from the courtyard, run to the inside of the palace. Kill three enemies in the dining room, then go upstairs and get rid of the looter trying to get into Rosa's room. Let her know that it's safe now, and she will open the door. Talk to Rosa, then go to the lower floor and go to sleep.
During this conversation, the romance with Rosa may reach its climax. Promise her that you will prioritize freeing her father during the raid on the Italian Court, express hope that you will not have to part for good, then kiss Rosa to complete the romance. Choosing other dialogue options immediately ends the romance.
How to find the key to the vault?
Talk to Zizka in the morning and then go to Vavak's house in search of the key to the royal treasury. You have to convince the guards to let you in (Scholarship - Medium, Dread - Medium, Might - Hard). In Vavak's room, instead of him, you will find Christian. If in the Via Argentum quest you helped Christian take over the secret mint and then didn't mention it to anyone, Christian will help you. Otherwise, he will try to kill you.
From Christian, you will get a letter from Vavak - voluntarily or from his corpse. Vavak fled from the city and as a last act of contempt, he left Samko a key to find in a very special place. Go to the backyard of the house and pull out the key from inside the toilet. Return to the Ruthards' palace, talk to Zizka, and then with Rosa.
How to find the tunnel to the Italian Court?
Talk to Samuel and follow him - you will go to the kitchen, and from there to the underground tunnels. Follow the ally, and in the end you will meet two people robbing graves. If you don't mocking them and tell them they can escape through the Ruthards' palace, you will resolve the situation peacefully. In the same room, find the discolored wall from which water is dripping, and mark it - the basement of the Italian Court is behind it. Return to the palace with Samuel, and when you are ready to meet with the pope's legate, talk to the Dry Devil.
How to catch the pope's legate?
If you don't have a very fast horse, this quest will be impossible to finish - losing the legate is an immediate end of the game. Herring, the horse received for free from von Burgow during the main storyline, is not enough. We described how to get a better mount on a separate guide page - you can also buy a better mount from the horse dealer in Kuttenberg, right by the western wall of the city.
The negotiations will end in a chase - together with Adder, you have to pursue the pope's legate and his guard. Run at a trot after them and don't let them out of your sight. If necessary, leave the main route and follow the legate via shortest path. Eventually, you will get a cut-scene. Adder accidentally kills the legate, forcing a change of plan. Zizka asks you to return with him to the Ruthards' palace - you can leave immediately or ask him to wait for you.
Returning to the Ruthards' palace is a point of no return! When you enter the palace courtyard, free exploration of the world will be blocked until you complete all the remaining story quests. After finishing the game, you can continue to explore the world and complete the remaining side quests. However, Sigismund's Camp and all related extra content will disappear from the map.
After a quick conversation with Zizka, you will be delegated to Brabant, who is tasked with teaching you Italian. Repeat the phrases given by him, and if necessary, you can ask him to repeat them. Then talk to Rosa, who will give you the key to the chest with the costume. Change into Italian clothes (wear them instead of your fancy outfit - Italian clothes are quite heavy, so you'll probably have to throw something away or put it aside to not be overloaded) and talk to Godwin in the courtyard. This will complete the quest.
