Similar to the first game, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 offers players a vast, open world. In the sequel, you will visit two vast regions, which differ slightly from each other. On this guide page, we inform how large the areas of Trosky and Kuttenberg are.

Trosky

Trosky is the first region you will gain access to right after completing the prologue. This is mainly a rural area, where cultivated fields mix with dense forests. A large river runs through the entire region, flowing out in the western part of the map. Among the most important locations, you can find:

  1. Trosky Castle - a large fortress and seat of local authority. Getting to this location will be your main task in the first act of the game. The castle is located in the north-eastern part of the map.
  1. Troskowitz - located in the central part of the map, the village is the largest settlement in the area. Here you will find merchants and craftsmen, whose services you will be able to use.
  2. Semine - a village on the southern edge of the map. This is where your lost horse will end up after the events of the prologue.
  3. Nomadic camp - a sizable camp of a wandering people, located by the lake. Here you will find, among others, a fence and a combat trainer - Tomcat.
  1. Zhelejov Lodging - an inn in the central part of the map. You can permanently rent a room with a bed here.
  2. Tachov - a village where you will find the blacksmith Radovan. He will give you the first few main quests.

Trosky is a tutorial region where you will learn the most important gameplay mechanics, complete your first tasks, and also acquire the equipment needed for further journey. However, this does not mean that the region is in any way limited. Crossing the entire map back and forth on horseback will certainly take some time. The high density of smaller activities will ensure that you can spend many hours in Trosky and still have something to do.

Kuttenberg

You will reach the Kuttenberg region in the second half of the game, after completing the Storm quest. The second map is noticeably larger than Trosky, offering different environment. Agrarian landscapes are being replaced by a large city and its surrounding infrastructure. Among the important points on the map, it's worth mentioning:

  1. Kuttenberg - a sizable merchant city and the heart of the region. You will find here plenty of activities and service providers.
  2. Sigismund's Camp - a military camp of considerable size. At first, the guards won't let you in.
  1. Caravan - stationed at the border of the region. With its help, you will be able to return to the previous region.

You will spend the second part of the game in Kuttenberg. A noticeably larger area to explore and a large urban center mean that you should not run out of activities here for a very long time.
