The Miri Fajta quest in KCD 2 can be activated while visiting the Nomad camp in the Trosky region. This is a long series of quests, during which you will try to reunite the Voivode's feuding family. On this guide page, you will learn how to find Marika, heal Bohush as well as how to get an amulet from the stubborn father.

How to activate the Miri Fajta quest?

To activate the Miri Fajta quest, go to the Nomad camp by the lake and then find the Voivode's tent. Talk to him.

The worried Voivode will ask you to find his daughter, Marika. The girl ran away after an argument with her father and no one knows where she might be. However, the herbalist Bozhena, whom you met in the game's prologue, may have some clues.

Before setting out on the search, go to the girl's bed and grab the scarf lying there. It'll be useful in the further part of the quest.

How to find Marika and Bohush's hideout?

Go to the herbalist's hut and ask her about Marika. The old woman will reveal to you that the girl has run away to Apollonia with her beloved.

Head to the southeast part of the region. Be on your guard, because this area is teeming with robbers and other bandits. Ride along the main track approximately halfway through the area marked in yellow.

Summon Mutt (hold down the X button) and choose the Track command. Allow him to smell Marika's scarf.

The dog should pick up the scent and take you near the cave where the lovers are hiding. Bloody traces on the boulders will lead you to the place.

Talk to Marika. The girl will ask you to bring her father's amulet and to get advice from her mother.

Return to the camp and talk to Aranka, the mother, (she usually hangs out in the tent opposite the Voivode's headquarters). The woman will give you healing items for Bohush and also instruct you to obtain 4 pieces of comfrey. Learn where you can find this on the dedicated page of our guide: How to find comfrey?.

If you have a high level of Survival skills and marigold decoction, you can try to heal Bohusz during the first visit to Marika's cave. Then you will skip the stage of collecting herbs.

How to free Tibor and bury Gejza?

Now talk to the Voivode. When asked about previous events, the man will reveal to you that his sons got into a conflict with the residents of Semine. Gejza fell in battle and Tibor was captured. Your objective now will be to rescue the captured man and recover the body of the deceased one.

Head to Semine (southern part of the map). Tibor is being held in a building in the south part of the town. Go around the building carefully and jump inside through a window. Untie Marika's brother and together with him, run towards the forest.

Tibor will thank you for the rescue and ask you to recover his brother's body, which is still being held by the local woodcutters. Go to the sawmill and talk to their leader.

There are several ways to force the woodcutters to return Gejza's body:

  1. Paying ransom in exchange for the body;
  2. Defeating the woodcutters in combat;
  3. Convincing the leader to hand over the body by threating or deceiving him.
  4. Stealing the body. If you get caught doing this, the Woodcutters will attack you. For this reason, it is also worth doing this during the night.

In our case, deception worked. You can now go to the tree at the edge of the forest, untie Gejza and move him to the burial place marked on the map. The road is quite far so prepare yourselves for a long hike.

Place the body in the hole on site and take part in the funeral.

How to get the amulet from Voivode?

After the funeral, the Voivode will ask you to recover an important letter taken by Marika.

Go back to the girl's hideout. On the way, don't forget to collect the herbs mentioned earlier - you will find them in the garden next to the pharmacy in Troskowitz.

Right upon entering, you will have to fend off a pack of wolves. When you kill one, the rest should flee in panic.

Give Marika the herbs and bandages, and also convey her father's will. The woman agrees to give up the letter, but she asks you to trade it for her father's protective amulet.

Head to the location indicated by the mission compass. The letter is hidden in the tree hollow.

Return to the Nomad camp and talk to Voivode. The man will categorically refuse to give up the amulet. Talk to Marika's mother, who will suggest a wager.

You can ignore the promise made to Marika and just hand over the letter to Voivode. Miri Fajta's quest will then end.

Start a wager with Voivode. Your task will be to win in two out of three rounds.

  1. A horse race around the lake is almost impossible to win. Tibor's horse is devilishly fast and hardly gets tired at all. Pebbles will most likely be way too slow at this stage of the game. You can learn more about horses on the Best Horse page.
  1. A fist fight can easily be won though. In the first seconds of the duel, perform a dodge - Tibor likes to start with a quick series of blows. Keep your distance and look for the right opportunity to attack. If you successfully assess the perfect time window to attack, you should easily win the fight.
  1. The last round consists of a dice game with Voivode himself. Use your best special dice to increase your chances of winning. You can read more about the game itself on the guide page How to play dice?.

When you manage to win a bet with Voivode, the defeated nomad will go with you to Marika's hideout. The family will then reconcile.

The storyline will come to an end in a cutscene, where you will witness a joyful party organized in the Nomad camp. Right after it, the Miri Fajta quest will end.
