Ghostwire Tokyo: Trophies / Achievements - list, trophy guide Ghostwire Tokyo guide, walkthrough

This page contains the trophy guide for Ghostwire Tokyo - you will learn about the premise of the achievements and how to get them, as well as how to unlock the platinum trophy.

Last update: 30 March 2022

This page has the trophy guide for Ghostwire Tokyo - it should help you get 100% of the available achievements. We have listed all 57 trophies with their requirements, as well as information on how difficult it is to get the platinum trophy in Ghostwire Tokyo.

The most important information about the trophies

  1. Ghostwire Tokyo has 57 trophies - 1 platinum trophy (only available on PlayStation 5), 2 gold trophies, 4 silver trophies and 50 bronze trophies.
  2. All trophies are earned in single player mode since Ghostwire Tokyo has no multiplayer.
  3. It is possible to get all trophies in a single playthrough, because you can continue playing even after completing the main storyline. Moreover, you can play on any difficulty level, as they are not related to any of the achievements.
  4. Many trophies are related to secrets and collectibles. You will have to find 100% of them and some secrets may turn out to be problematic or time-consuming (especially finding and sending back groups of spirits). Additionally, you have to complete 100% of the side missions, but they shouldn't be a problem for you and almost all of the optional tasks appear automatically on the map.
  5. Try to accumulate meika and avoid spending it. Some of the trophies are about buying expansive unique items from traders. You can use the trick to save the game, make the necessary purchases for the achievement, and load the previous save to "get back" the gold for future purchases.
  6. It can take you more than 40 hours to get the platinum trophy. A lot depends on how fast you can obtain the secrets.

How to unlock: Transfer 100% of the spirits from the city.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This trophy and the two previous ones are about absorbing and sending back spirits using katashiro (a paper artifact with magical properties). We have covered this mechanic in more detail on Katashiro and spirit absorbing page.

In short - you have to find blue spirits by using spectral vision, i.e. the scanning mode. If you have spare katashiro, you can absorb spirits. You must then reach the phone booths to safely send the spirits back and receive rewards (XP and gold).

The described achievement is one of the most problematic and time-consuming - Ghostwire Tokyo: Trophies / Achievements - list, trophy guide - Trophy Guide - Ghostwire Tokyo Guide

The described achievement is one of the most problematic and time-consuming. To make things easier, you can hover over the icons of cleansed shrines. The screen will then display a percentage value of found and returned spirits in a given district (we have marked it in the picture above). The "Globally" progress bar is visible in the top right corner of the map screen. There are a total of 240,300 spirits to send back, but this is not a huge value - you will mainly find clusters of several hundred spirits.

Besides the elements mentioned above, there are two other things to note:

  1. Some of the spirits are on rooftops - to get there, locate flying tengu creatures that you can pull yourself towards them with your grapple.
  2. There are also clusters of spirits in the subway tunnels - you will visit them for the first time during the main storyline. You can then find and absorb them on an ongoing basis, or return to the dungeons later in the game.
  3. Some spirits can only be absorbed by completing random events with Containment Cubes (preventing trapped spirits from being absorbed by the Visitors) and Hyakki Yako (fights with large groups of Visitors in separate arenas). You can follow the progress of collecting spirits in both of these categories on the world map screen (upper right corner).

This way, you can improve your chances of locating the missing spirits in a given district

Hero of Shibuya

How to unlock: Complete the main storyline after sending 100% of the spirits away from the city.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: Theoretically, this achievement can be missed, but in reality it is not that troublesome and you don't have to worry about going through the whole game twice.

The description of the trophy suggests that you must first find 100% of the spirits in the world and then complete the main storyline. Fortunately, you don't have to complete all of its requirements during the first playthrough, because after completing the main storyline, you will go back to before the point of no return which happens at the end of chapter 4 (picture above). You can then locate the missing spirits and then play the final 2 chapters again (preferably on easy to have a much easier time defeating the final 3 bosses).

You don't need to kill 10 Visitors in one battle. What's more, the game counts each execution right away, so you can just load your save and defeat the same opponents multiple times.
