Fallout 4 gameplay is dynamic and fast. Rarely do you get any chance to plan your attack or to take a good aim. For those, who prefer a slower-paced gameplay, we have prepared a Tactician build that relies on using the V.A.T.S. system, which will make the game resemble, at least in part, the first installments of the franchise.
Statistics
You receive 21 points to distribute. Unfortunately, a character that mainly relies on V.A.T.S. Requires lots and lots points of statistics. You will not be able to raise certain statistics while leveling up. Your base statistics should be as follows:
- Strength: 2
- Perception: 10
- Endurance: 3
- Charisma: 1
- Intelligence: 2
- Agility: 10
- Luck: 9
Recommended perks
The perks that you pick after you level up, should be centered around taking advantage of the V.A.T.S. One of the key issues is the ability to score critical damage and the option to stack them. Perks from the Luck tree should be your priority.
Critical Banker | Rank 1: You can save a Critical Hit, to be used in V.A.T.S. when you need it most Requirements: Luck 7); Rank 2: You can now save 2 Critical Hits, to be used in V.A.T.S. when you need them the most Requirements: Rank 17, Luck 7); Rank 3: You can now save 3 Critical Hits, to be used in V.A.T.S. when you need them the most. Banking a Critical has a chance to save an additional Critical Requirements: Rank 43, Luck 7). |
Grim Reaper's Sprint | Rank 1: Death becomes you! Any kill in V.A.T.S. has a 15% chance to restore all Action Points Requirements: Luck 8); Rank 2: Any kill in V.A.T.S. now has a 25% chance to restore all Action Points Requirements: Rank 19, Luck 8); Rank 3: Any kill in V.A.T.S. has a 35% chance to restore all Action Points and refill your Critical meter Requirements: Rank 46, Luck 8). |
