Last update: 06 November 2017

Curse in Assassin's Creed Origins and cursed items are described below:

During your time with Assassins Creed: Origins you can notice something unusual - your hero became visibly weaker - Why did Bayek become weaker all of a sudden? - FAQ - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

During your time with Assassin's Creed: Origins you can notice something unusual - your hero became visibly weaker. An example is presented in the picture above - Bayek's health bar is much shorter and it doesn't regenerate.

The reason is that you have placed a Cursed item in one of your active inventory slots - Why did Bayek become weaker all of a sudden? - FAQ - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

The reason is that you have placed a Cursed item in one of your active inventory slots. This status is inflicted only by some of the artifacts (an example of a cursed weapon is presented in the picture). The information about item's cursed status is displayed in its description after you move the cursor on it.

Important note - You don't have to sell or dismantle Cursed items. Besides weakening your character, they can also increase your attacks (e.g. dealing twice as much damage). You must decide whether you want to have more powerful attacks but at a cost of Bayek's lowered health points or not.
