Here you can find walkthrough for Alexandria side quests.

Last update: 08 November 2017

In this page you can find all side quests that you can start in Alexandria. You should go to this province after reaching level 10. Don't worry if you are too weak for some of the quests, e.g. those that require level 20. You can do them later. Each description contains an information about how to unlock a given side quest, its walkthrough and rewards for completing it.

Serapis Unites

Suggested level: 10

How to unlock: Pray in Serapis Temple.

Rewards: 800 XP.

Press the interaction button when you are standing near the statue to pray and receive a quest from a priest - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Press the interaction button when you are standing near the statue to pray and receive a quest from a priest. You must save a captured drummer. Reach Kibotos Arsenal fort and use Senu to locate the prisoner (the picture). You should infiltrate the fort during a night because you should try to (stealth) kill as much enemies as possible before you rescue the drummer. Clearing the path that leads to the fort's exit is especially important because you must go through it while carrying the rescued person.

Listen to the conversation and head south. Use Senu to locate a person that carries a lion's skin. You can kill the enemy by, e.g. preforming a leap attack from a rooftop. You must also kill his bodyguard. Retrieve the lion's skin and take it back to the priest.

A Tithe By Any Other Name

Speak with the priest in Serapis Temple again - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Speak with the priest in Serapis Temple again. Your task is to steal a cart that rides through the city (the picture). Approach it with your own mount and attack the carter by using a melee weapon or a bow (you can also throw him off the cart by using Hijack ability). You don't have to kill the convoy's guards because you can escape them (this is easy to do because they don't have horses). Ride the cart with food to an appointed place in the harbor. Try to avoid hitting anything and going through narrow passages because you can destroy or wedge the cart which, in result, will fail the mission.

The Odyssey

Suggested level: 10

How to unlock: Complete A Tithe By Any Other Name side quest.

Rewards: 800 XP.

Speak with the priest once again (he walks around the docks) - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Speak with the priest once again (he walks around the docks). You must help the man escape from the city and avoid being killed by Hunters. You must take him to a temple in the north part of the city. Choose side streets and scout an area beforehand so you won't come across too many enemies. If a fight breaks out you should focus on enemies that are a threat to the priest (mounted enemies should be attacked with bows, you can also use melee weapons to attack mounts and throw the riders on the ground). Reach the northern temple (the picture) and complete the quest.

The Shifty Scribe

Suggested level: 11

How to unlock: Speak with a woman.

Rewards: 750 XP.

Bayek must save Aristo, a Greek philosopher - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Bayek must save Aristo, a Greek philosopher. Use Senu and scout the south-east part of the city. The prisoner will be transported in a cage attached to a cart (the picture). Eliminate the carter (e.g. use a melee weapon or a bow) and, optionally, the guards. Open the cage and pick up Aristo. Start moving south (try to avoid guards if you don't want to fight with them). You must take Aristo to the docks.

The Last Bodyguard

Suggested level: 15

How to unlock: Speak with a merchant.

Rewards: 800 XP, 500 Drachma.

A merchant asks Bayek for help - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

A merchant asks Bayek for help. After a short walk you learn that Bayek must protect his daughter, Kara. Take her to south-west part of the docks. You can get there by going through canals or by using side streets. If you come across problems, you should first eliminate those enemies that are a threat to the girl.

Reach the appointed place, get on the horse and head east. Follow the girl again. You must also pick up linens. After the robbery you must quickly call your own mount and chase the thief. Throw him off the horse by, e.g. attacking him with a melee weapon (the picture). Get on Kara's horse and go back to the girl. Speak with her and her father to complete the quest.

Wrath of the Poets

Suggested level: 20

How to unlock: Speak with Phanos.

Rewards: 1500 XP.

Phanos is in the amphitheater - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Phanos is in the amphitheater. He asks you to rescue kidnapped actors and to recover a script. The actors are held in Akra Garrison located on Alexandria's outskirts. Go near the garrison and scout the area with Senu to find the cages. You should infiltrate this place during a night and stealth kill your enemies. Approach a cage with an actor, open it (you should also open all other cages) and carry an actor outside the fort.

Put the rescued actor on the ground and speak with him - Alexandria side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

Put the rescued actor on the ground and speak with him. You learn about his friend that is hiding and about the current owner of the play's scenario. These mission objectives are nearby so send Senu to scout the area:

  1. The Politics of the Gods scenario is in possession of one of the stronger enemies (the picture). These enemies are at levels 19-20 so be prepared to have a challenging fight.
  2. One of the actors hides inside of a building near the water. Approach him and start escorting the actor towards one of the main city's streets. It is highly probable that you will come across a patrol. If that happens, you should defeat enemies before they become a threat to the escorted person.

Complete all objectives and go back to Phanos.

Symposiasts

How to unlock: Complete Wrath of the Poets side quest.

Rewards: 1500 XP.

When that happens, you should eliminate enemies without getting off your mount. Reach the destination and speak with Phanos. You learn about an attack of Gennadios' people. This time, you must face more difficult soldiers (levels 20-21). Attack those enemies that are a threat to Phanos, then you can eliminate the rest of them. Speak with Phanos again. He needs more time to prepare a plan for an attack on a greater scale (the description of that mission can be found below; its quest marker will appear after some time).

Complete Symposiasts quest and wait some time - you will soon notice a new quest marker near one of the vantage points in Alexandria. This is the last quest from those in which you help Phanos and his actors. The mission has three main objectives:

  1. Kill a carter that rides a chariot through the city - Use Senu to locate the chariot. Chase him on your mount and attack the carter (with a melee weapon or a bow). You can escape from the rest of the enemies.
  2. Kill a group of soldiers - The enemies use a boat to travel through the canals (the picture). You can wait for them wherever you want (e.g. near one of the big entrances to the canals or in the canals itself) and start eliminating them with a bow.
  3. Attack the armory - This building is near the docks. Bayek must kill all enemies (level 22). You can perform stealth attacks (preferably during a night) or kill them in regular fights.

Complete all objectives and go back to Phanos.

Go inside and speak with Tefibi. You must now both head towards the docks. You will also be attacked by bandits (level 19). Defeat them all and speak with Tefibi.
