Last update: 08 November 2017
This chapter contains information that will help you find all papyruses in the Kyrenaika province in Assassin's Creed: Origins as well as to solve all the related riddles. Solving the papyrus riddles usually yields valuable items (mostly very rare or legendary tier).
Undue Haste
This papyrus can be found in Temple of Zeus in the city of Cyrene in the Kyrenaika. Refer to the above pictures for the exact location.
Go to the northern end of the Kyrenaika province (around the city of Apollonia). There's a lighthouse there, which is a viewpoint.
Senu can examine the area around the lighthouse. You have to locate a destroyed boat left on a small beach - check out the above pictures. The treasure is inside that boat.
Underground Currents
This papyrus can be found in Tomb of Battos, in the city of Cyrene in the Kyrenaika province. The entrance to the tomb is sealed, but you can get inside via a big hole in the roof (picture 1). The location of the tomb is highlighted on picture 2.
Get to the viewpoint in the north-west part of the Green Mountains province. Go west from there, past the Collis Roman Hunting Camp fort. You have to reach the waterfall shown above (use Senu if you have a hard time finding it).
You have to climb on top of the waterfall, which is not particularly difficult. This will allow you to find the treasure (refer to above pictures).
Dead or Alive
Note - consider solving this riddle later on, towards the end of the game (i.e. around counterweight 40). Otherwise, it's very likely you won't survive this one.
This papyrus can be found in Apollonion of Cyrene in the Kyrenaika province. Refer to the above pictures for the exact location.
Now you have to get to the Green Mountains province - more precisely in the vicinity of Roman Camp of Curus in the south-west part of it (picture above). A Kill Elephant location is also there. You will have to kill a fierce elephant.
Approach the edge of the "arena", but don't jump down just yet. Instead, use Senu to mark the area shown above on the arena. It's between one of the water tanks and the palisade. Jump down after doing that.
When the fight begins, ignore the elephant and go to find the treasure right away (picture above). You should be able to pick it up before you're killed.
Note - You don't loose the treasure if Bayek dies right after locating it. The papyrus riddle will also be considered as completed.
