Subnautica Below Zero: Titanium - where to find? Subnautica Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 27 March 2021
Titanium plays a big role in Subnautica: Below Zero, just like it did in the original game. Titanium is a basic resource necessary for crafting tools. The expansion has a fixed base. This means that you won't be able to find the best source of titanium - salvage.
There are two sources of titanium in Subnautica: Below Zero. The first is Limestone Outcrop. You can find it in various places on the map. This angular rock can be found on rocky cliffs and at the bottom of the ocean. Break it to receive titanium or copper ore. Every Limestone will give you only one piece of either of the resources. If you need more of these materials, you will have to find more rocks like this one.
The second source of titanium is to scan fragments of items the blueprints of which you have already learned. Scan an item a few times to get its blueprint. Undiscovered fragments of that tool will remain at the ocean's bottom. Find and scan them to get three pieces of titanium. This is the easiest way to get this resource - look for it in the area around the first base. There, you will find a lot of Grav Trap fragments. Scan them two times to unlock its blueprint.
