The biome is located in the central region of the map. It's divided into three separate areas, which border on most other biomes present on the map.

The whole area is overgrown by giant kelps, which provide creepvine samples and creepvine seed clusters, which, in turn, can be used to craft first aid kits and lubricant. The most important resource available in this biome are stalker teeth, used in the production of hardened glass. Additionally, in this biome, you'll also be able to find sandstone, limestone, scrap, and salt deposits.

There can be scrap among the kelps, brought here by Stalkers - Subnautica: Kelp Forests - biome guide - Biomes - Subnautica Game Guide

This biome isn't particularly dangerous, the only native predator and main hazard being Stalkers. If you're outside of your vehicle, the fish can catch you and drag a few meters. It can do the same with the cameras from the Scanner Room
