Last update: 05 May 2021
On this page of the Resident Evil Village guide, you will learn what the Treasures are for. We inform how to find the treasures, who can buy them from you, as well as how to recognize treasures consisting of several fragments and how to combine them.
Finding treasures - key Information
Treasures are simply items of great value that you can acquire during a playthrough. Treasures can be:
- Found with other loot
- Received after defeating strong opponents (e.g. bosses)
Treasures don't take up space in your inventory. You can check them in the Treasures tab. A treasure's description informs whether it is Valuable or Very Valuable.
Combinable treasures
The descriptions of some of the treasures may have information that that treasure is Combinable. This means that that treasure consists of several parts, which you can find in separate locations and then combine together. This will create an item of greater value.
If you have found matching parts, you can select one of them in the Treasure tab and choose the Combine option. The game should confirm that you have matching objects. This will create a higher quality artifact.
Treasures - use
Treasures have no practical use - they won't increase Ethan's stats or help you solve puzzles.
You should sell all your treasures to the Duke. Depending on the value of the artifact, you can get from several hundred to even tens of thousands of credits (Lei).
Important note - Do not sell Duke combinable treasures. Try to find and combine treasures from the same set first. You will make an item of much higher quality that will sell for more money.
