1. Completing Resident Evil Village for the first time should take you about 10 hours. This assumes that you don't play on the lowest or highest difficulty, you don't rush through the main chapters, and you don't aim to complete 100% of the explored locations. Exploring all the areas fully (i.e. making them turn blue on the map and finding the collectibles/series) can quite significantly increase the time you spend in the game.
2. It is possible to complete RE8 in less than 3 hours, but you can only do this if you do a speedrun, i.e. you deliberately complete each stage of the game as quickly as possible. It is worth noting at this point that there is a Dashing Dad trophy associated with the speedrun. If you've gotten to know the game well in previous playthroughs, you shouldn't have much trouble completing it in 3 hours.
3. You can spend from a few to several hours with Mercenaries Mode. As a reminder, this is an additional gameplay mode that you can unlock after completing the game. It focuses on getting through many fights where your aim is to score the best possible results and unlock the highest possible ranks.
4. Getting the platinum trophy in Resident Evil Village should take you about 30 hours, and this is assuming that you remember about achievements and their requirements during subsequent playthroughs. The most troublesome trophies are those associated with completing the campaign on difficult terms (e.g. on the highest difficulty or using only a knife in combat) and with gaining S-ranks on Mercenaries Mode maps. In both cases, you need to show your best skills. Otherwise, if you fail many times, it will greatly increase the overall gameplay length.
