Resident Evil Village: PS5 version
This guide is based on the PlayStation 5 version. It has two graphic modes. You can run the game in 4K resolution in both modes. With ray tracing on, you will get 45 frames per second. Without ray tracing, the game will run at a steady 60 frames per second. Regardless of the graphics mode, you can also enable/disable HDR (if your TV supports it and if HDR is enabled in the console settings).
We didn't experience any animation drops. The game kept stable performance, even in intense situations or scenes with multiple characters appearing on screen.
As for other graphical settings, Resident Evil Village allows you to, among other things, turn off the HUD (for better immersion), change the damage indicators, or enable crosshair for firearms and change its color.
