Last update: 09 March 2020
This page of the Divinity Original Sin 2 guide contains a detailed description of The Red Prince, one of the heroes that can join your party. This chapter of the guide contains information regarding the hero, classes that are available to him (and their descriptions) as well as recommended classes when choosing The Red Prince as a main hero or a companion.
Red Prince is the first character and the only Lizard that you can join to your team (provided that you didn't select this character as yours). He can be found near the stating place - he stands on a beach, south from the place where the ship crashed. In this chapter, you can find information about the character itself, classes that are available to him (along with their descriptions) as well as a recommended class if you want to choose The Red Prince as your main character or a companion.

Recommended classes for Red Prince
The Red Prince works great as:
- Fighter (his starting class), Knight, Inquisitor or Metamorph - in all of these cases, you can make a great use of his additional resistance to Poison and Fire (your mages can use these spells freely even when he is in their range); he can also use his Dragon's Blaze ability effectively because it has a short range.
- Wizard - this class gives access to abilities from Pyrokinetic and Geomancer schools which works greatly with his additional Poison and Fire resistance as well as with Dragon's Blaze ability (it deals Fire damage and can set Oil on fire that is created by using Fossil Strike).
