This page contains the list of all trophies available in Far Cry 5. They can be unlocked on all platforms that can run the game. The default number of Far Cry 5's is 50. The PS4 version has one additional platinum trophy. Each achievement contains a description where you can learn about its requirements as well as a commentary that can help you get a specific trophy faster.

A Wing and a Prayer

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Fly Nick Rye's plane.

Commentary: This achievement is connected to Wingman main mission available in John's region (visit Rye & Sons Aviation). During the mission you have to fly Nick's plane. At the end of the mission Nick will join you as a specialist (ally).

Ace Killer

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Destroy 10 enemy planes by piloting a plane or a helicopter.

Commentary: You can fulfill some of the requirements while playing certain missions. Enemy planes start appearing after reaching the highest level of liberating a region.

The game features shops that sell flying machines (one of them can be found in Rye & Sons Aviation in Holland Valley) but it is better to wait until you get an armed plane for free by completing the quests.

Aint No Wallflower

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Speak with 50 citizens of Hope county.

Commentary: NPCs can be found in villages and camps (e.g. Fall's End) but you can also come across random encounters. The latter method may require you to free them from the cultists first. You can recognize these NPCs by an icon above their heads - example in the picture (the icon can have one of a few forms). Use every opportunity to speak with them. They can also give you a lot of valuable information, e.g. about a location of a stash or a quest giver.

ARCADE Competitor

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Win on 10 maps in Far Cry Arcade mode.

ARCADE Enthusiast

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete missions on 10 maps in Far Cry Arcade mode (alone or in cooperation).

ARCADE Hero

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Play "Arcade Hero" 5 times in Far Cry Arcade mode.

ARCADE Hunter

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer in Far Cry Arcade mode.

ARCADE Player

Trophy type: Sliver

How to unlock: Reach level 20 in Far Cry Arcade mode.

Been There, Done That

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Catch every type of fish and hunt every animal species.

Commentary: Use a fishing rod to catch a fish. You can hunt animals by using any of the weapons (you can even kill them with a car). Each species needs to be hunted once - check your progress in the challenge menu. Use road signs, books and maps to find the animals. Every new hunting spot is added to your world map (the picture above shows an example). More information can be found in Hunting animals and Fishing pages.

1. Wild animals that you can hunt in Far Cary 5 - deer, pronghorns, elks, reindeer, bison, rabbits, boars, skunks, wolverines, mountain lions, bears, grizzly, turkeys, moose, eagles, wolves, American black bears.
2. Fish that you can catch in Far Cry 5 - sockeye salmon, thymallus, golden trout, rock bass, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, sea trout, lake trout, rainbow trout, scaphirhynchus, American paddlefish, chinook salmon.

Additional Note - you can find animals faster by traveling with Boomer (this dog is one of the available specialists). You don't have to give him any specific order, simply travel around the game's world with him.

Big Spender

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Spend a total of 50,000$ on new vehicles.

Commentary: Visit shops that sell cars, quads, trucks, planes, boats or helicopters. This trophy will probably take you some time. Try to not spend your money on new weapons or other expensive items. Instead, you should use it to unlock new vehicles. The trophy is unlocked after spending a total of 50,000$ dollars on vehicles.

Blissful

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Save the Marshal from the Bliss.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the main missions in Faith's region (Henbane River).

Close and Personal

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Perform a total of 25 close combat takedowns.

Commentary: Try to use these takedowns in locations with weaker enemies. Don't hide from them. Instead, you have to charge at the enemies. Get closer to them and press the takedown button (the same one that you have to press when you want to perform a stealth takedown).

Death from Above

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: You have to destroy or stop 4 vehicles by using a single bomb that was dropped from a plane.

Explosive Surprise

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Kill enemies by sabotaging 5 vehicles.

Commentary: You can get this trophy after buying Saboteur skill for 7 points (Renegade skill tree). From now on you can sneak on parked vehicles and sabotage them (reach their hood and hold the interaction button - see the picture). The best way to do that is to sabotage them while you are infiltrating enemy camps or you are liberating them. An attack is successful only when at least 1 enemy dies in a vehicle explosion.

If you play on easy, you can also run towards cars that were used by enemies to reach a battlefield. Despite a sabotage, there is a small chance that they will move away from them to avoid explosion.

Extra Crafty

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Craft 25 items.

Commentary: Items can be crafted in the respective menu. You can choose from six different items. You have full control over what you want to craft and you can choose quantity. Search chests and bodies of defeated enemies to get crafting materials.

Fashion First

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Spend a total of 1,000$ on clothes.

Commentary: New outfits can be bought from, e.g. arms dealers. Keep buying clothes until their total value exceeds 1,000$.

Fertilizing the Land

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill 5 enemies with a tractor.

Commentary: The best way to get this trophy is to visit Davenport farm located in John's region, west from Fall's End. Find The Reaper tractor presented in the picture. The cutter attached to the vehicle will make things easier for you. Eliminate cultists from random encounters or reach any of the enemy outposts.

An alternate way of getting The Reaper tractor is to liberate Kellet Cattle Co. in Holland Valley (the farm is located south-east from Fall's End). After that you can reach any of the garages and select this tractor from the list (the picture 2).

Note - A regular tractor can also be used in killing cultists but it will be harder to fulfill the trophy's requirements.

Fish Market

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Sell 20 fish that were caught by you.

Commentary: Use a fishing rod to catch fish and reach any of the places where you can find them (check the map or find books about fishing). Sell your fish in one of the in-game shops. More information can be found in Fishing chapter.

Ghost Kill

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill a cultist with a headshot (scored by either a gun or a bow) from at least 150 meters.

Commentary: Get AR-CL sniper rifle and the best scope for it (Marksman Adv-X) - visit any of the arms dealers (this sniper rifle can also be dropped by certain enemies).

You can determine the distance between you and your target by placing a marker in the place where that person stands. Remember to always aim a little bit higher - use the indicators displayed on any of the scopes. Thanks to that it will be easier for you to adjust your aim.

Hitting It Off

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete any 3 coop missions with another player.

Hope County Master Angler

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Own four different types of fishing rods.

Commentary: Two types of the fishing rods can be bought from the shops. The third type can be acquired by completing all Skylar side quests in Whitetail Mountains (Jacob's region). The fourth type is a reward for beating all records in hard difficulty fishing spots.

Ignoble Beast

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill a bison with only a melee weapon.

Commentary: The detailed description of this trophy can be found on the separate page.

Kicking the Hornets Nest

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Trigger the wrath of a Herald.

How to unlock: Trigger the wrath of a Herald.

Commentary: To get this trophy you have to unlock one of the story missions that can let you have a final confrontation with one of the members of Seed family - John, Faith or Jacob. You get this trophy by making progress in the main story line. Collect 13,000 resistance points in Holland Valley or in Henbane River or 10,000 points in Whitetail Mountains.

Liberator

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Liberate 5 locations from the cultists.

Commentary: Capture cult outposts to get this trophy. Each region has a few of these locations so choose five outposts and liberate them. After that you should get a confirmation that a given location is free from the cultists (see the picture) and you will see a cut-scene that depicts members of the resistance arriving at that outpost.

Like a Bird

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Travel 5,000 meters by using the Wingsuit.

Commentary: The Wingsuit isn't available by default. You have to buy Wingsuit skill (Renegade skill tree) for 4 skill points. After that you can use a plane or a helicopter and jump out of them when you are high in the air.

Note - Your current distance travelled with the Wingsuit can be checked by entering the challenges menu (the Wingsuit is connected to one of them).

Locked and Loaded

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Buy all upgrades for a weapon.

Commentary: You can modify (upgrade) a weapon only when you visit any of the arms dealers (the pistol icons on the map). Open the menu where you can buy a weapon and then select any of the owned weapons. The requirement for this trophy is to buy all upgrades so the best choice is to modify the basic bow (see the picture above). This weapon has only two scopes. Available skins aren't counted here - you can ignore them.

Only You

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Complete the First Trial.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Focus on completing missions available in Jacob's region (Whitetail Mountains).

Opportunity Knocks

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Use a rock or a can to distract 15 enemies.

Commentary: This is an easy trophy because you can throw said items right from the beginning of the game. Sneak on any of the enemies and throw a rock or a can near that person. Your enemy will go investigate source of noise. Repeat this action 14 times (on different enemies).

Pack Rat

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Get 1 collectible (a collectible item) of every type.

Commentary: Collectibles in Far Cry 5 can have a form of, e.g. figures, comic books or collector's baseballs (example in the picture).

1. Whiskey barrels.
2. Bobblehead figures.
3. Comic books.
4. Baseballs (the picture above shows an example).
5. Vinyl crates.
6. Lighters.

They are usually found inside of buildings. The game adds a collectible icon when you get closer to it.

Peachy Keen

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Bait Peaches into going back home.

Commentary: This achievement is connected to Here Kitty, Kitty main quest that takes place in Faith's region (visit Peaches Taxidermy). Your objective is to locate the tamed mountain lion and lead it to the cage. After that the animal will become one of the specialists.

Road Gunner

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill a total of 25 enemies while driving.

Commentary: This trophy counts two types of attacks. You can shoot while driving (only with sidearms) or you can do that as a passenger after leaning from a window (you can use any of the weapons). It is highly probable that you will get this achievement without any effort especially since you have to drive a lot during the missions.

Saving Deputy Hudson

Trophy type: Gold

How to unlock: Save Deputy Hudson.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in John's region (Holland Valley).

Saving Deputy Pratt

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Save Deputy Pratt.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in Jacob's region (Whitetail Mountains).

Saving Sheriff Whitehorse

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Save Sheriff Whitehorse.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in Faith's region (Henbane River).

Scavenger

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete 3 treasure hunts.

Commentary: Treasure hunting is one of the activities available in Far Cry 5. You have to find prepper stashes and the game features several dozens of them. Starting points for treasure hunts can be found by exploring the world or you can learn their locations by speaking with NPCs. These missions are marked with a green jewel (the picture above shows an example). Descriptions of all stashes can be found in the separate chapter.

Science Fact

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Put aside skepticism and help Larry.

Commentary: Larry is connected to four optional missions. Complete them all to get this trophy. Larry can be found in Parker Laboratories in Holland Valley. The walkthroughs for Larry's missions can be found on a separate page. The Laboratories are west from Fall's End - the picture above shows its exact location.

Sewer Rat

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Destroy a cult water treatment pump.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in Faith's region (Henbane River).

Special Delivery

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Ensure a baby's safe passage into this world.

Commentary: Complete Special Delivery side quest to get this trophy. It becomes available in Nick Rye's airport in Holland Valley after you defeat John Seed during the main storyline.You learn that Nick's wife will soon give birth. This is a simple quest during which you have to reach the clinic before the time runs out.

Squash and Run

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Run over 20 enemies.

Commentary: A very easy trophy to obtain. Use any of the cars (ignore quads) and travel around the world. You can drive over enemies who spawn as random encounters or, e.g. you can drive a car into an enemy camp.

Stocked Garage

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Buy 3 vehicles.

Commentary: Visit shops that sell vehicles (one of them is located in, e.g. Fall's End that you will reach during the main story line). You can buy any of the vehicles, e.g. the cheapest cars.

Survivalist

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Unlock half of the available perks (skills).

Commentary: This is a time-consuming trophy. Check How to get perk points? In the FAQ section of this guide. To get this trophy you should focus on unlocking those skills that require the least amount of perk points.

The Greatest SOB That Ever Lived

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete a Clutch Nixon's stunt in each of the regions.

Commentary: Clutch Nixon stunts are optional missions in Far Cry 5. You can find them while exploring areas occupied by cultists. The picture above shows one of these places. These stunts may require you to, e.g. complete a race while driving a burning car. Choose 3 stunts (1 in John's region, 1 in Faith's and 1 in Jacob's region).

The Hurk Locker

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Destroy 15 vehicles with Hurk.

Commentary: Hurk Drubman Junior is one of the specialists (companions) who can be recruited. He can join you during The Prodigal Son main mission that takes place in Jacob's region (visit Fort Drubman). Recruit Hurk, travel with him around the world and look for vehicles that can be destroyed (you can mark vehicles for Hurk to destroy).

The Spark

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete the game intro.

Commentary: You get this trophy after defeating all cultists on Dutch's island which happens during the prologue.

Together Forever

Trophy type: Gold

How to unlock: Complete the game.

Commentary: Focus only on the main missions to get this trophy. You don't have to complete any side missions or activities. You get this trophy regardless of which ending you chose.

Troublemaker

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Destroy all cult properties in every region.

Commentary: Destruction of cult properties are one of the additional activities in Far Cry 5 that can weaken the cultists. You can destroy, e.g. silos (the picture above shows an example). Destroy this buildings by using, e.g. explosives or rocket launchers. Every cult property is marked on the map (but only after getting closer to it). Destroy only 1 property per region.

Note - Besides the three main regions, this trophy also counts Dutch's island from the prologue. Destroy one of the cultists' altars.

Walk the Path

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Discover the Bliss.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in Faith's region (Henbane River) and finish two hallucinations with Faith.

We Always Had Faith in You

Trophy type: Platinum

How to unlock: Get all other trophies.

Commentary: Platinum trophy is available only on PlayStation 4.

What Now?

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Complete 3 side quests in Hope County.

Commentary: A very simple trophy. Progress through the story line and liberate cult outposts to unlock more side quests. Complete any 3 of them.

Wheres the Beef?

Trophy type: Bronze

How to unlock: Kill a bull by only using your fists.

Commentary: The detailed description of this trophy can be found on the separate page.

You Are Wrath

Trophy type: Silver

How to unlock: Be deemed the Sin of Wrath.

Commentary: This trophy is connected to the main story line. Complete the missions in John's region (Holland Valley).
