Clean Water Act in Far Cry 5 Far Cry 5 Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 05 April 2018
The Clean Water Act is the title of one of the feature missions of Far Cry 5 that can be played during your stay in the Henbane River area. In this mission you must reach the local water treatment station and stop the process of pumping the Bliss drug to the drinking water intakes. You will find a complete description of this task in the following chapter.
The mission can only begin after you have helped the rebels in the Hope County Jail, located near Henbane River. Get to prison and talk to Virgil. Go to the Deep North Water Treatment Plant and, alone or with the help of a specialist, lead to the elimination of all Cultists (beware of those who are heavily armored).
The two main buildings on the station site are closed and you can't get inside straight away. In both cases, you must start by reaching one of the consoles that control the pumping station (example in screenshot 1). Using the console will drain the water from the tank, but only for a limited period of time. Then jump into the tank and use the tunnels to get closer to the building. On your way, you may be forced to destroy obstacles quickly (see screenshot 2 for an example). Fortunately, you won't die as soon as the water level rises, but you'll have less time to reach your destination before your character drowns.
In each of the two buildings located on the station site you have to destroy all the running pumps. This is best achieved by relying on any explosives, although you can also use a shotgun, for example.
Expect new cultists to appear after the pumps have been sabotaged in each of the two buildings. As you fight, watch out for heavily armored enemies and quickly destroy enemy vehicles. For example, Hurk or Nick can help you to win those battles. The mission will be completed with the destruction of the pumps in both buildings.
Reward for completing this mission: Rat Trophy in the Sewage System, 900 Resistance Points.
