Side quests of Larry Parker (Alien Objects) in Far Cry 5 Far Cry 5 Guide and Walkthrough

Larry Parker's quests are a unique category of additional tasks in Far Cry 5 that you can carry out while in the Holland Valley and relate to Larry's suspicion of a foreign presence in Hope County. There is a total of four quests to complete. Their completion is rewarded with a unique weapon which attacks opponents by sending microwaves (Magnopulser) and a Scientific Fact trophy. Solutions for all tasks ordered by Larry are presented below.
Unlocking Larry Parkers Side Quests
All Larry Parker side quests start at Parker Laboratories to the west of Fall's End in the Holland Valley. The place is shown in the attached screenshot of the in-game map.
Free Larry
This task will automatically start as you reach the Parker Laboratories and find Larry surrounded by electric lightnings. You need to turn off the power to talk to Larry. It is a simple task. Note that cables are leaving from the main device where the Larry is standing. These lead to three different generators, each of which you have to switch off. After you have done this, return to Larry and talk to him. You will receive another task from him.
Reward for completing the quest: 300$
The Heros Journey
As part of this mission, you must help Larry destroy the satellite dishes that he believes are used for eavesdropping. Get to the telecommunication tower (Purpletop Telecom Tower). Once you've arrived, start by getting rid of your opponents.
The main character must have a Grapple at his disposal (buy this skill for 1 talent point), because this is the only way to get to the first balcony (the picture above). Fortunately, you can also use ladders for the rest of the climb.
During the climb look for the first two satellite antennas. Use any firearm to destroy them. The last three satellites are mounted very high, but Larry will be able to help. Use the Grapple again to catch the Larry helicopter and climb onto the deck of the aircraft. You can now start firing the satellites from the helicopter.
After the destruction of all antennas, wait until you return to Larry's home. New enemies have appeared in this location and you must kill them.
Reward for completing this quest: 700$, 200 resistance points.
Close Encounters
In this task you have to find 4 Alien Objects (Artifacts). Go to the fields which are a part of the Bradbury Farm. The locations where artifacts can be found are shown in the picture above.
- You will find the first Alien Object at the dead cow.
- The second Alien Object is on top of a large silo on the farm. The most difficult thing to do is to get it. You have to start climbing with a smaller silo in the picture above. Jump on the adjacent silo and then on a small balcony with a ladder. Reach the nest on the top of the largest silo.
- The third Alien Object is in the middle of a large hay-burned sign. Turkeys can circulate here (and attack your character).
- The fourth Alien Object was kidnapped by a dog. You can catch him and take the object out of his mouth or shoot him.
You will complete the mission after you have collected all the artifacts. Return to Larry to start your last quest.
Reward for completing this quest: $800, 200 resistance points
Out of this World
From Larry, you will learn that he needs more power and will be sent to the Hilgard Electric Power Station. Start by getting to the panel inside a small building. Then, you have to use five switches.
Three switches are very easy to find. The fourth one is on the tower, just climb the ladder to get to it. The fifth switch is on another tower. Stay in the place where the fourth switch was and catch the rope (check screenshot). Note - Cultists will ultimately appear in this location. It is worth taking a break from reaching the switches and killing them in first place.
Return to Larry after everything and watch his experiment. After Larry "evaporates" you can lift the experimental Magnopulser and Larry's boots.
