A Dish Served Cold - Jess Black, a new companion in Whitetail Mountains

A Dish Served Cold is one of the quests in Far Cry 5 that is available in Whitetail Mountains. This mission gives you a chance to get a new specialist (companion), a huntress called Jess Black. Complete this quest shortly after finishing Far Cry 5's prologue. Jess is great when you want a stealthier approach.

Free two groups of hostages

You can meet Jess after rescuing her during Baron Lumber Mill quest. Find here in the Whitetail Mountains' mill and speak with the woman.

Follow Jess. Your next stop is a quarry with 3 hostages. Eliminate them in the same way as you did with the cultists in the first camp - scout the area by using your binoculars and use every opportunity to kill enemies with takedowns. After that you have to free the hostages.

Kill The Cook

The last part of the mission is to reach The Cook's camp. He uses a flamethrower (see the picture above). You can kill him however you want - shoot him from afar, use a rocket launcher, bombard that location or place explosives. Speak with Jess once The Cook is dead.

Rewards for completing this mission: a new specialist (Jess Black), 900 resistance points.
