Turkeys can be found around the main farm building or in the surrounding territories. Boomer the dog can help you in finding them. You can also use the Ultimate Hunter drug that lets you automatically locate wild animals in your sight.
How to kill a turkey?
Once you find a turkey, keep safe distance. Otherwise the animal might charge and hit you. Assault rifles and shotguns are effective against turkeys. You can also use bow and obtain better resources from killing the creature, but killing a turkey might require using more than a single arrow.
Specialists can help you in killing turkeys. Animal companions like puma Peaches and bear Cheeseburger are especially helpful.

Rewards for killing turkeys
Killing turkeys with vehicles, launchers or explosives isn't recommended as in that case they don't drop any valuable items. You can find baits and feathers in the bodies of killed turkeys. Feathers can be only sold at any merchant in the game's world. A single set of feathers is worth 100 dollars.
Try to kill at least 2 turkeys during the game. This will enable you to complete the Turkeys skinned challenge and to obtain 2 perk points.
