Hit the Gas in Holland Valley Far Cry 5 Guide and Walkthrough

Hit the Gas is one of the shorter story quests in Far Cry 5. You can unlock it in Holland Valley, the region that belongs to John Seed. Your goal is to kidnap and deliver a fuel tanker to Fall's End.

Additional note - The best way to complete this mission is to play solo, without any specialists. They can destroy fuel tankers before you manage to kidnap them. Also, you should have Auto Repair and Repair Torch perks that will lower a risk of destroying a vehicle.

This quest appears in your journal after sufficiently weakening the cult in Holland Valley (reach level 2 out of 3 in this region).

You have to capture two fuel tankers that belong to the cult. They don't need to be found in a specific location. Drive on the main roads until you come across a fuel tanker. Start chasing it and kill its driver by shooting him while you are driving (use a pistol or other sidearm). Avoid shooting at its tank - you don't want to blow up a truck. Fix it with repair torch if a vehicle sustained too much damage.

Secure a fuel tanker and take it to Fall's End. Don't stop while you are on your way there. Avoid collisions with other vehicles and cultists' convoys because your tanker can get destroyed easily. Reach the town and park your vehicle in the place marked by the game. Deliver two fuel tankers to Fall's End to complete this quest.
