Gestures are an interesting type of collectibles known from the Elden Ring base game. The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC introduces a number of new emotes, including one of considerable importance for exploration. The O Mother emote, used in the right place, will allow you to open a secret passage leading to the location in the north of the map - Scaduview. Bonny Village
The O Mother emote is quite an important collectible because it allows you to open a passage leading to one of the northern regions of the map. More on this topic can be found on the page How to open the passage behind the headless statue?
First, go to Bonny Village. This small town is located in the central part of the map, in the southern part of the Scadu Altus. If you have visited this village before (by passing through the Moorth Ruins), you have probably already unlocked the Sites of Grace located in the western part of the village. Go there.
Get on your horse and head east. But be careful. The village is haunted by hordes of enemies who will attack you as soon as you approach them. If you don't want to fight, spur your horse and quickly avoid the opponents standing in the way.
Cross the crack in the ground that splits the village in half. The passage to its eastern part is at the southern end of the gorge, above the bank. Then head directly north and leave the village.
Statue with the gesture
Among the trees growing outside the village, over a steep slope, you will find a kneeling, headless corpse. After interacting with it, your character will find the desired item - the O Mother gesture.
