Shadow of the Erdtree introduces many challenging new bosses to Elden Ring. You will come across these opponents while exploring and traversing both smaller and larger dungeons, just like in the basic version of the game. On this page of our guide, we have listed all the bosses in the game and described where you will encounter them.

Boss List

All bosses dropping Remembrance

Among all the bosses available in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, the ones that deserve special attention are those that drop Remembrance upon death. This usually happens for the main and mandatory story bosses, but also the "more important" ones you don't have to kill to complete the expansion.

The mandatory Remembrance bosses are:

1. Rellana, Twin Moon Knight (Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight);
2. Messmer the Impaler (Remembrance of the Impaler);
3. Romina, Saint of the Bud (Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud);
4. Promised Consort Radahn (Remembrance of a God and a Lord).

The optional, "Remembrance" bosses include:

1. Divine Beast Dancing Lion (Remembrance of the Dancing Lion);
2. Putrescent Knight (Remembrance of Putrescence);
3. Scadutree Avatar (Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower);
4. Metyr, Mother of Fingers (Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers);
5. Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame (Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame);
6. Commander Gaius (Remembrance of the Wild Boar Rider).
