The Virgin Born | Boss in Code Vein Code Vein guide, walkthrough
Last update: 21 October 2019
The Virgin Born is the final boss in Code Vein - it appears only for players who wanted to unlock To Eternity or Dweller in the Dark game endings. The battle with the boss takes place immediately after the end of the duel with Skull King. This boss is a huge in size, so the fight against him is mainly about attacking one point, namely his chest.
This boss immediately starts his attacks. They're easy to avoid and there's not too many of them but one attack can take up to 75% of your health. His attacks are mostly hand-swings. Can perform two such attacks and the third one is a slow (charged) hand explosion. Usually the boss does just one of such attacks. After each of these attacks, you have plenty of time to start dealing damage to his chest, which is the least protected element of his body. Focus mainly on the chest of the boss.
When you remain under the boss for a long time, your enemy will create a blue barrier that can deal high damage to your character after a while. From time to time, when you are away from the boss, it may fires a fast-flying projectile at you, which knocks you back on hit. The boss can also jump towards you to get closer and at the same time crush you while dealing large amounts of damage.
Its second phase begins with an attack in which the boss ascends into the air, and starts firing at you with similar missiles as in the first phase, but in a much larger amount. It is difficult to avoid this attack. We recommend to move under the boss as soon as possible, so that the spikes won't hit you, although the explosions of missiles can still get you. Be prepared to dodge a lot. After this attack, the boss is vulnerable for a very long period of time. This is a great opportunity to deal him as much damage as possible.
