Insatiable Despot is a huge boss. The first and the second phase differ significantly from each other. In the first phase, the boss fights with two daggers while in the second, he uses an axe. Moreover, this boss can use red crystals to summon reinforcements. By far the best tactic is to stick to his legs or back, at least during the first stage.

In the first stage, the boss will summon reinforcements frequently. To prevent him from doing that, destroy the red crystals as soon as possible (see the picture). This is only one of his attacks. He will probably start the fight with this attack. You can tell that he is about to use this attack when one of his hands glow. When drives a dagger in the ground, you will see a red filed beneath your character. Shortly after that, a red crystal will emerge. Dodge it and destroy the crystal.

If you don't, you will have to face an additional opponent. The fight with the boss is already difficult - more enemies will only make things get worse. Also, the boss can summon another minion even when the previous one is still alive.

Besides the crystal, his attacks are based mainly on swinging the daggers. He can also hit the ground with one of them (this attack is very fast) and then leap towards you to attack with the second dagger. It is important to be close to him - his attacks won't reach you.

His second phase starts when he starts to remove handle parts from his chest. After that, he will combine them with the daggers creating an axe. Now, sticking to his legs/back isn't enough because his attacks have a very large range. He can also spin with his axe - this attack can hit you even when you are standing behind him. Instead of calling minions, his red hand now creates a projectile that follows the player. The projectile is quite maneuverable - dodge at the last moment when the missile is near you.

In addition, Insatiable Despot can leap towards you and attack you with the axe. He uses this move when you are standing in front of him (if you get hit, you will lose a lot of HP). However, he has an even more devastating version of this attack - he raises his axe upwards and then hits the ground. This attack causes an explosion that can kill with a single hit. When you see that the weapon glows red and he raises it, move behind his back, or move backward.
