On this page of our guide to Code Vein you will learn how to get to the next region, Area D-18, what to look out for when passing through this location, and how to get to the next Mistle.

To find a new region, go to Area E-16, Accumulator Ruins, from there turn right to the door guarded by the Great Knight. After defeating Gilded Hunter, you'll be able to open the door. Move straight ahead the road until you enter the new region, Area D-18.

The location is largely covered by fire and lava, so it is best to equip a Blood Veil with high fire resistance. Enemies will jump out of fire walls, so watch out for them. In addition, the ground is sometimes torn with lava, so standing in it will cause health loss every second.

Turn right first and pick up Anti-stun (x2), but watch out for your opponent on the right, hidden in a flaming wall.

Move back and take the other way. Watch out for ground and explosions. Climb up the ladder, on the right there is Step Booster (x2).

Go further, you will see some Queen Steel. Jump lower and pick it up as fast as you can. Climb the ladder again and return to this place.

Next, there is a not lowered ladder, it serves as a shortcut. So don't worry, you will unlock it later. Jump lower and turn left. The first turn to the right leads on to new opponents.

However, keep going straight ahead, on the right you will find Queen Steel. Now take the first turn right. Defeat all opponents.

After defeating all opponents, head to the corridor on the right, but watch out for the lava.

There you will find Scathach Vestige Part A and a not lowered ladder.

Climb up the stairs, take the Gift Accelerator (x2) and lower the ladder down. Turn left, move down and pick up the Condensed Loss Shard (S).

Defeat your enemies and run through the lava. On the right side you will find a normal ground. Behind the wall on the right there is Venom Cartridge (x2).

Follow the right edge and turn left, climb up the ladder.

Go a bit further, there's a passageway where explosions occur on the floor from time to time.

Defeat the opponent and move on while watching out for explosions. From there, turn left.

Defeat two enemies shown in the screenshot. After that, pick up the Awake MJ212.

There is a ladder by the wall, climb up the ladder and take the Condensed Loss Shard (S).

On the right side there is a Stamp: Icon 05 and a ladder from the beginning of the location, which will serve as a shortcut when you leave.

Back up, on the left side (check out the attached screenshot) there is a descent to the bottom. Pick up Awake MJ212, watch out for enemies hidden in flames.

Turn right and around the corner the whole floor will be covered with lava, run fast through it.

On the right there is a Regen Activation Factor.

A bit further down the road there is a chest with Blood Veil Noble Silver +6 and Vivifier. Below you will find a new type of opponent, the blue Rotten Demon. His attacks are very fast. Also, he uses several AoE attacks. When fighting him, it is best to use a weapon with ice / frost damage. After defeating him, you will update the map and receive 7,741 Haze. Return to the top of the ladder and turn left.

Scathach Vestige Part C is on the lower edge, get down there and pick it up, but watch out for the opponent next to it.

Further on, on the right, there is the passage to the previous locations on the mountain, and on the left is a narrow passage that leads to Rotten Mistle and Vestige. Go ahead (check the screenshot).

A little bit further you'll encounter enemies hidden in the fire. Defeat them and go left.

In front of the opponent there is a Rotten Mistle, and on the right side a Scathach Vestige Part D.

Afterwards, go back to the place where you left the ladder - where you found the first Vestige. By the ladder, on the right side, there is a path. You will have to walk on the lava (check out the attached screenshot). Run fast to avoid as much damage as possible. Move on, descend the ladder. On the right there will be a Chemical Light (x4). After a few steps further a cutscene will be displayed. You will get Scathach Vestige I.

Now you have to fight another blue demon. Before you start fighting it, pick up Camouflage. After defeating him, pick up Regen Inducer, then climb up the ladder.

Turn left when you get up the ladder and defeat two opponents. Pick up Select Coffee Beans. Return to the ladder, and choose the other way.

There is the Mistle on the right. Jump down there, pick up Scathach Chrome (x2) and activate Mistle Razed Cityscape.
