Successor of the Breath is a boss of the P-9 region who mainly deals cold and frost damage. The boss attacks primarily with his shield in the first phase, while in the second phase he throws it away to gain speed. It is recommended to have equipped an armor with high resistance to ice and have a buff that enhances weapons with fire damage. Antifreeze Tonic can also be useful.

In the first phase of the battle against Successor of the Breath you should be able to get close to him and attack him from behind. He usually performs one or two attacks that end up with a twisting slash with his shield. If you are too far away from him, he will start jumping towards you and then he can use his twisting slash attack. His most dangerous attack occurs when he submerges his antlers in the snow and deals a lot of damage. Furthermore this attack is followed by an attack with ice spikes. When he does it, roll on sides to dodge the attack.

The second phase will begin as soon as the boss throws his shield on the ground. From now on, he gains a lot of movement speed, and he becomes much more dangerous than before. His jumps towards you are faster and he can charge at you with his jet pack on his back. An attack with horns is more dangerous now, as 3 ice spikes will emerge from the ground instead of one, making the range of the attack greater. However, the most dangerous of his attacks are those where his hand shines red. This attacks has two variants. The first one creates an ice spike in his hand, then swings and attacks the player. This attack has a long range, so it's better to move away. The second attack consists of a shield made of iceballs that after a moment fly towards you at very high speed. The boss usually combines this with a charge in your direction, making this attack rather deadly. When you see him doing this, it's best to turn off enemy targeting feature and play with a free camera for a while. This will make it easier for you to dodge his powerful attacks.
