1. From the moment of obtaining the first Manuscript Page, Saga can review them in the Mind Place. They have their own desk right from the Case Board.
2. After selecting a page from the list, you can read its contents and addtionally click on it to play the recording narrated by Alan Wake.

The Message (Return 1)

Obtaining this Manuscript Page is a story event. During their first visit to Cauldron Lake, Saga and Casey visit Witch's Ladle. Examining the large tree will lead to finding the page.

Saga Fights Nightingale with Light (Return 1)

Obtaining this Manuscript Page is a story event. Saga will find it during the autopsy of Nightingale in Bright Falls morgue. This happens during a cut-scene and you can review the page after it concludes.

Saga Pursues Nightingale (Return 1)

This page is on the floor of autopsy room of Bright Falls morgue. You can find and collect it after completing the first confrontation with Nightingale.

Saga at the General Store (Return 1)

This page is inside the General Store in Cauldron Lake. During Return 2, you'll receive an objective to find Nightingale's Heart and will have to defeat the first Taken Cultists who will break through the wall in the store. The page is on the floor of the new side room.

Saga Finds a Safe Haven (Return 2)

Obtaining this Manuscript Page is a story event. It is found in the same area in Witch's Ladle as the very first page. You can find and collect it during Return 2 chapter in the course of tracking Nightingale, right after using Flashlight Boosting on the tree for the first time.

Saga Opens the Cauldron Lake Overlap (Return 2)

This page is inside Witch's Hut in Cauldron Lake. You will find it on the shelf right after unlocking the first Break Room (this happens during Return 2).

Nightingale Enters the Lake (Return 2)

When it comes to this page, you can find it after crossing the Overlap in Return 2, while searching for Nightingale's hideout. After crossing through the red portal, examine the small water reservoir on the right. You need to use Flashlight Boosting to destroy Dark Substance from the screenshot. This will reveal the find.

Nightingale in the Dark Place (Return 2)

This is the second page found while searching for Nightingale. During the exploration of the forest, you'll encounter an area with trees lit in red. The collectible is on the ground near one of the paths.

Overlap (Return 2)

This secret can be found shortly after defeating Nightingale (boss encounter) during Return 2. The page is well hidden near the rocks at Cauldron Lake Shore.

Saga Burns Away the Dark Substance (Return 2)

This page is on a table in the forest in Crow's Foot Hills - can only be collected after defeating Nightingale, which will result in water levels around Cauldron Lake dropping.

The Cult of the Tree (Return 2)

This collectible is on a floor inside Private Cabin in Cauldron Lake which becomes accessible after the water levels drop. There is a Break Room in the same area.

The Murder Sites (Return 2)

The page is on a table near Witchfinder's Station in north-western part of Cauldron Lake. The area becomes accessible after the water levels drop.

Ed Returns to Cauldron Lake (Return 2)

Once you get to play as Saga again after completing Initiation 2 as Wake, explore the western rooms of the Elderwood Palace Lodge in Bright Falls. Several new guest rooms are now open; the collectible will be lying on the floor.

Tammy Rides the Ferry (Return 2)

Once you get to play as Saga again after completing Initiation 2 as Wake, explore the western rooms of the Elderwood Palace Lodge in Bright Falls. Several new guest rooms are now open and the collectible will be next to the night lamp.

Cauldron Lake (Return 2)

Reaching this collectible is possible at the earliest in Return 6. The entrance to the cottage area is in the eastern part of the map and bolt cutters are required.

Go to the southern cottage 1, where there is also a break room. The Manuscript Page lies on one of the pieces of furniture.

The Trailer (Return 3)

Obtaining this Manuscript Page is a story event. Once you get to play as Saga again after completing Initiation 2 as Wake, the writer interviewed at the Elderwood Palace Lodge will give you the collectible.

Saga in the Watery Woods (Return 3)

You can find the Manuscript Page in the hunting cabin in the eastern part of Watery, which can also serve as a break room (you need to start the generator first). In the same area, a hunting crossbow can also be found. The collectible lies on the round table.

Scratch on the Hunt (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is located in the break room located north of the gift shop at Coffee World in Watery.

Coffee World Attacked (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is inside the Coffee World gift shop in Watery. You can reach it after obtaining a screwdriver and using it to break into the store.

Deputies Make a Grave Mistake (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is hidden inside the Kalevala Knights Workshop, which is located next to Coffee World in Watery. You will get there while progressing through the story.

Saga Fights Taken at the Workshop (Return 3)

You can find the Manuscript Page after exploring the basement of the Kalevala Knights Workshop. You can reach it by going down the ladder in the break room. The collectible will appear on the floor after trying to take a Clicker from the altar.

The Koskela's Parade Float (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page will appear on a platform in front of the Kalevala Knights Workshop in Coffee World in Watery after you get far enough in the game. Here you'll have to solve a mystery related to the opening of the Overlap in Coffee World.

Deputies in the Morgue (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page can be obtained after passing through the Overlap portal in Coffee World, that is while looking for sheriff deputies - Mulligan and Thornton. After reaching the new location, look into the first hut; the collectible will be on the table.

The Dark Presence Attacks (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is at the end of the small pier in Downtown Watery. More specifically, it's south of the sauna building.

Deputies Corrupted (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page will appear in front of the Espresso Express carousel in Watery, but this may only happen after defeating the bosses in the Overlap.

The Cult Finds the Clicker (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page will appear on the ground on the main street of Bright Falls, next to the Elderwood Palace Lodge and Saga's parked car. This will happen after you get far enough in the storyline.

Watery (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is in the eastern part of the forest in Watery. It is close to the cult's stash location. While on your way there, you'll have to squeeze through under a fallen tree.

Mocha's Funeral (Return 3)

The Manuscript Page is in the central part of Coffee World in Watery. The collectible lies on a small round table.
