One of the important issues in Alan Wake 2 is restoring lost health points. On this page of the guide we provide a list of all types of healing items with instructions on how to best use them. Regeneration of lost health

In Alan Wake 2, you have to manually restore your health and you can't count on Saga and Alan to return to full strength after entering the light or waiting an appropriate amount of time.

3 main types of healing items are:

1. trauma pads;
2. painkillers;
3. first aid kits.

All of these items have different healing effects, and you can find them as loot - look into various containers, especially the cult stashes. Do not throw away unnecessary healing items. If you have too much items in your inventory, then move them into a shoebox so you can take them out later if needed.

1. By default, you must activate healing by manually selecting the item from the inventory. The technique is inconvenient and we recommend using shortcuts, the creation and operation of which we described on a separate page, titled How to assign quick slots?
2. Remember that healing is not immediate and your character needs a few seconds to regain health. We recommend healing after the fights are over or at least after moving away from monsters.

Health-related weapon upgrades - Saga

1. When playing as Saga, some weapon upgrades are linked to the health bar. If you want to increase your chances, it's worth spending the collected manuscript fragments on them.
2. An example of a good weapon upgrade is the one called Ready for More for Sawed-Off shotgun. Unlocking the upgrade causes killing an enemy with a shotgun to regenerate Saga's health. The effectiveness of regeneration depends on the strength of the enemy - you gain the most by defeating elite taken.

Health-related words of power - Alan

1. When playing as Alan, some words of power are linked to the health bar. You should spend the progression points gained by scanning words of power on them.
2. In our opinion, the best skill is Wellness Retreat from the Words of Fix category. Purchasing subsequent levels permanently increases Alan's health bar and can eventually increase it by up to 50 percent.

1. Other good examples for Alan are the skills called ER and Prescription from the Words of Aid category. Purchasing subsequent levels improves the effectiveness of health regeneration through the use of trauma pads and medicines.
