Locating Cynthia Weaver in the Overlap at the Wellness Center

1. Cynthia Weaver is a character known from the first Alan Wake game and in the sequel you must defeat her as Saga. This happens after Cynthia became one of the Taken. You must advance to Return 5 and reach the Wellness Center in Bright Falls.
2. In the aforementioned location, you have to solve the puzzle from the opening of Overlap in front of the Wellness building. Solving it will enable Saga to pass through the portal in the pond.

2. Ultimately, you will reach the larger location from the picture, where Cynthia is holding Tor.

Restoring power

1. You have to complete two parts of the fight - the first part is the restoration of power supply, and the second part is the actual fight with Cynthia.

1. Run to the center console. When you try to press the button, you will find that there is no power in the console. Your task will be to restart the generator.
2. From now on, you must avoid Cynthia, who is moving underwater. Cynthia will start hunting Saga every time a few seconds pass after the boss enters the water.
3. Hide when leaving the water and climbing onto various ledges and balconies. If you don't hurry, Cynthia may catch Saga - you have to defend yourself by pressing the action button quickly and Saga will lose a lot of health points (she may also die immediately).

1. Head towards the passage on the outskirts of the room - the picture shows it. Then turn left.

1. Continue avoiding Cynthia - climb to safe shelves or hide in the right side areas. Run to the place shown in the picture - Saga must climb to the right ledge.

1. You will find yourself in a place with the generator and trying to start it is a simple mini-game. Press the button when the indicator is in the bright field. You must do this 3 times in a row.

1. After restoring the power supply, return to the corridor and climb onto the nearby balcony. You will return to the central hall.
2. Don't hurry to reach your destination, just escape from the water once again. Head for the central console. This time pressing the button will be successful.

Boss battle

1. Leave the central area with the console and reach the balconies. There are stairs leading down - the picture shows them. After finding yourself on the lower level, wait a while and Cynthia will appear and start the actual boss fight.

1. Initially, we recommend attacking Cynthia from a distance. Use the hunting crossbow or hunting rifle to inflict damage.

1. Cynthia has 2 main types of ranged attacks. The first is launching missiles and you should use Flashlight Boosting to destroy them. Don't stop after blowing up the first missile, because there are always a few of them heading towards Saga.
2. The second attack is the release of a wave and your reaction should be to position yourself behind a cover. This will prevent damage, although the cover itself may be destroyed in the process.

1. After Cynthia loses enough health, she will fall to the ground.
2. Firstly, focus on depriving Cynthia of the shield of darkness (Flashlight Boosting), and then proceed to destroy her source on the chest.

1. Cynthia will start to rely on charges - stop her with the help of flashlight boosting. We also recommend using the sawed-off shotgun for short-range combat.
2. Use dodges to avoid taking damage from Cynthia's swings. Continue chipping down on the boss' health until the moment Cynthia falls to the ground.
