Alan Wake 2 is available in the standard and Deluxe editions. On this page of the guide, we explain what each digital edition has to offer, as well as whether you can buy Alan Wake 2 in a physical version.

Is there a physical version?

1. The first Alan Wake and its remaster from 2021 were available in physical versions.
2. Unfortunately, Alan Wake 2 will only be available digitally on the release day. This applies to both the PC version (Epic Games Store) and console versions (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store). Remedy Studio justified this step with a desire to lower the game's price. The price was indeed low when the pre-orders launched, but it has since been increased in selected markets and is now not much different from the prices of other games.
3. It is not excluded that in the future the game may get a physical edition. However, it is very likely that it will then be very limited.

Standard Edition

1. The standard version of Alan Wake 2 contains only the game.
2. The standard edition does not include story DLCs or other bonuses from the Deluxe edition described below. The story DLC will be available for purchase separately after its release.

Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake 2 includes:

1. Digital version of the game.
2. Season pass for 2 story DLCs - Night Springs and Lake House. They will be made available some time after the game's release.
3. Nordic Shotgun - a skin for Saga's shotgun.
4. Crimson Windbreaker - a skin for Saga's rifle.
5. Celebrity Suit - an outfit for Alan.
6. Parliament - a skin for Alan's shotgun.
7. Lantern Charm - a unique item for Saga that gives you an additional battery for your flashlight.

Pre-order bonuses

The developers have provided additional bonuses for pre-orders:

1. Weapon skin for Alan - Ornate Revolver;
2. Survival item pack for Saga - Rocket Flare, First Aid Kit, Painkiller;
3. Unique outfit - Oh Deer Diner sweater.
