Waiting for Hank | Connor | Detroit Become Human Walkthrough Detroit Become Human guide, walkthrough
Last update: 02 July 2019
Waiting for Hank... is one of the main scenes in Detroit: Become Human while playing Connor. This chapter allows you to learn more about Hank and improve your relation with him. Moreover, you'll encounter a woman in the Zen gardens. Amanda is unsatisfied about your performance and humanly traits: adaptation, feelings, independence.
The Precinct
Once you've made it to the office, find Anderson's desk. You also need to investigate the precinct. The next scene (Hank's arrival) begins when you analyze all objects on his desk. Moreover, you can check what kind of music he listens to, investigate his chair and leave a message on the voice mail. The nearby desk contains a newspaper - interestingly enough, the headline differs following the events that took place during Painter - if Leo died, the newspaper says "Robotic Parenting", if Carl - "A Famous Painter Died". Both headlines are independent and are marked separately on the Flowchart.
When you've completed the analysis, you can continue to look around the office or go to eavesdrop on the conversation. For this reason, it is recommended to look around the room earlier in order to be able to complete as many actions as possible (at least during the first playthrough).
If you've interrogated the deviant during The Interrogation and he has been arrested, you can visit him in the backroom of the precinct. After the conversation, the deviant will commit suicide which slightly influences Connor's final scene - Last Chance, Connor. When Hank gets called by the boss, you can go with him, but that choice does not influence any of the events.
Return to Hank - you can now talk to him. Depending on whether you want to improve or lower your relations with him, ask him about green topics or red topics:
- Baseball,
- Anti-Androids,
- Music,
- Dog.
The remaining options are neutral. After analyzing the data from the computer Connor gets up and approaches Hank. Being too forthcoming ("threaten") leads to bad relations between Hank and Connor.
Ending
The ending should be the same in all cases: Hank got the lead. The second option (Hank got lunch) is activated only if during her storyline act (Stormy Night), Kara does not stand to Todd and does not become a deviant). In this case, On the run, the scene that mixes the plots of Connor and Kara, is omitted. In both cases, The Nest is the next scene with Connor.
