Spare Parts | Marcus | Detroit Become Human Walkthrough Detroit Become Human guide, walkthrough

Last update: 02 July 2019

Marcus, along with his new companions: North, Jason, and Simon travel to CyberLife warehouses to steal spare parts for the androids.

Traversing the docks

You can choose one of the available paths and join North or Simon - your choice does not matter, even if the decision is written into your Flowchart. - Spare Parts | Marcus | Detroit Become Human Walkthrough - Marcus Walkthrough - Detroit Become Human Guide

Follow your companions - there are no dangers along the way. Your friends will climb on one of the containers that is held by a crane - you can join them or choose the way right and follow Simon (both choices are marked by your Flowchart, but the end result is the same).

The next scene sees you simulate an attack on a drone. Proceed to the container on your left, grab a hold of a chest found on the crane and wait there until the drone arrives next to Marcus. The Flowchart offers two options: Marcus emerges unscathed or (in case of failing the QTE) becomes wounded. It is better to emerge unscathed, as otherwise you'll lose reputation points.

Reaching the Supplies

Obtain supplies from CyberLife' storehouse.

Continue following the corridor. Open one of CyberLife chests, and you'll encounter an android janitor - John. You have 15 seconds to decide what to do with him - especially that there is a human guard incoming. Options that appear on the screen are:

  1. The best solution is getting a hold of the android and hiding until the human guard walks away.
  2. Kill the guard
  3. Run away
  4. Hide

Getting a hold of the android can be followed with following actions:

  1. Wait
  2. Release the android
  3. Kill the guard

Stealing Continues

If you managed to not activate the alarm or haven't run away, you can search for further parts. You can also climb on the ledge and check the large, black chest - inside you'll find inactive androids. You can:

  1. Leave them be - no consequences
  2. Activate them - this increases your reputation in the group and in Jericho, no negative consequences
Both choices are displayed on your Flowchart - Spare Parts | Marcus | Detroit Become Human Walkthrough - Marcus Walkthrough - Detroit Become Human Guide

Both choices are displayed on your Flowchart. The next choice involves agreeing to take an android janitor with you.

  1. Don't agree - the janitor will activate the alarm, this ends the chapter;
  2. Agree - John joins the group, you can decide to rob the CyberLife trucks to get more parts and increase your respect in the group.

Attacking the guards

If you let the android janitor to join the group then you can decide whether you want to escape with a CyberLife truck or you want to end this chapter here. You don't risk anything which means that you can try to steal a truck to increase your relations with the team and in Jericho (provided that you succeed).

The guards wont detect you if you stay behind the drawers. - Spare Parts | Marcus | Detroit Become Human Walkthrough - Marcus Walkthrough - Detroit Become Human Guide
The guards won't detect you if you stay behind the drawers.

Run to the guards building near the gate and enter inside through the bathroom window. Don't get near the guards - you can notice a red line. Go past it and you will fail the mission. Your first objective is to locate an access card to the guards' terminal - press L1 to zoom at it. Examine:

  1. Trash bins behind the window - you can go outside and move them to lure out the guards. After that you will be able to steal the card without any troubles. Escape through the window.
  2. The electrical box - use a screwdriver to cause a short circuit. After that you can sneak past the guards (leave through the window).
  3. A weapon in the cabinet - using the weapon starts a QTE. If you succeed, the guards will be incapacitated. You can kill the guards by not pressing the buttons after the sequence during which you choke one of them. Failing the QTE sequence raises the alarm which stops this stage.

Endings

This stage can end up in two ways (success - the group managed to collect the components, failure - escape without any loot) which will influence the party members' behavior towards Marcus.

  1. Success - grab a hold of an android janitor and wait with him until the human guard leaves the area or kill the human at the beginning or during the hiding phase. You receive the respect of the team members.
  2. Failure - if you begin to run when the guard comes by, hide without the android or kill the guard, the mission will be failed - You'll drastically worsen your relations with the rest of the group.
  3. Stealing the truck - one of the endings for this chapter allows you to steal a truck with parts. Complete this sequence successfully to gain reputation. If you fail, you will start escaping (this is similar to when you fail) - however, your gained reputation will stay. Because of that you should try to steal a truck.

Moreover, the Flowchart receives events that don't influence the plot:

  1. If during the escape you won't make it to the fence on time, you'll be attacked by a dog and receive damage.
  2. John has joined the team - he gets attacked by a dog when the alarm is on. He can die if you don't help him - this will cost you a little bit of reputation.
