How to get Marcus and North into a romance in Detroit Become Human? Detroit Become Human guide, walkthrough
Last update: 06 July 2018
In Detroit: Become Human you have the opportunity as a Markus to lead a romance with North, who is one of the defects fighting for the liberation of androids. You can start a side conversation with the hero, which is required to enable you to get the best end (and save all the heroes - the Escape Death trophy and the Moral Victory trophy).
The main scene that begins the romance takes place on the roof of the old building in the prologue to the chapter entitled Freedom March. This scene always appears, but the condition for a successful start to the romance is a high ratio of relations with North, at least "friendly". To achieve this, you may prefer the methods promoted by North (aggression and resentment towards people), but a better solution will be to successfully complete all the elements of the previous chapters (such as collecting an additional truck with parts in Spare Parts, damaging the police drones in Capitol Park, or closing the door before the intrusion of security into the room in Stratford Tower).
In the above mentioned romance scene, you must ask North about her past, show understanding and trust. These options, in the case of positive relationships, will lead to a clear scene and set the North on Markus's side in the following chapters. To bring the story to a conclusion:
In Crossroads chapter:
- When North wants to give you the detonator, take it,
- Then kiss North,
- When the escape from the ship begins and North is shot, throw her into rescue,
- After the fighting you will be able to talk to North, ask her about the damage she has suffered.
In Battle for Detroit chapter:
- In one of the final scenes, Markus and his group will be locked in and you will be given a few dialog options. Kissing North, which unblocks the protagonists' romance story to this point, will cause the police to retreat, leading to the best conclusion of this chapter.
