Important information about traders
- Not all traders will appear immediately in the locations indicated above. You may have to meet certain requirements beforehand, e.g. making enough progress in the game or starting a specific quest. When a dollar icon appears on the district map, it means that the trader is now available.
- The Traders' stock isn't fixed and may change as you progress through the game. A good example here are weapons - the trader sells firearms whose level requirement is close to your current experience level.
- Be on the lookout for unique items while browsing their stock and buy them as soon as you can. This mainly applies to blueprints that unlock new weapon modifications and consumable recipes. Also, make sure to buy Fuses so that you can have them on the ready if you encounter a Fusebox.
- Don't buy commonly found items. This is especially important at the beginning of the game, when your cash is low. New weapons or medkits can be found free-of-charge when exploring the zones.
- Be careful when selling your own items. Don't get rid of items from active inventory slots and don't sell all your crafting ingredients in bulk. When it comes to managing crafting materials, sell only a portion of them to free up inventory space if the need arises but make sure you still have enough to craft something mid-expedition.
